According to Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish, Fu-Te Ni has agreed to a contract with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the independent Atlantic League. Ni signed with the Tigers out of Taiwan in 2009 but flamed out after posting a 4.33 over his first 58 major league relief appearances. The 31-year-old lefty is hoping to break back into MLB-affiliated ball at some point.

Dodgers signed LHP Fu-Te Ni to a minor league contract. The 31-year-old southpaw hasn't appeared in the major leagues since he was with the Tigers in 2010. He'll function merely as organizational depth for the Dodgers.

Tigers released LHP Fu-Te Ni. Ni has been limited to just five starts and two relief appearances this season with Triple-A Toledo due to shoulder issues. The 29-year-old southpaw made 58 relief appearances for the Tigers from 2009-2010.
