Angels released RHP Francisco Rodriguez. Rodriguez, who made 53 relief appearances with the Angels from 2010-2011, had an ugly 6.35 ERA and 28/31 K/BB ratio over 51 innings with Triple-A Salt Lake this season. The 29-year-old right-hander will attempt to latch on elsewhere.

But he just didn't have it against Colorado, which pummeled him with four hits for the come-from-behind victory.

Angels re-signed RHP Francisco Rodriguez to a minor league contract. Rodriguez can earn a $481,000 salary if he makes the big league roster this spring. The 28-year-old had a 4.61 ERA in 10 relief appearances for the Angels last season.

Angels transferred RHP Francisco Rodriguez from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. He was cleared to make room for Wednesday's starter Garrett Richards on the 40-man roster. Rodriguez hasn't pitched since May 6 due to a shoulder injury.
