Perez (4-3) notched the win against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two hits and issuing three walks while striking out five batters over six scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Perez racked up 13 whiffs and five punchouts while keeping the Yankees from crossing the plate. The right-hander recorded his third quality start of the campaign, and this was also just the third time he's completed six innings through 10 outings. Perez has been on a roll of late -- over his past six appearances, he's posted a sterling 1.06 ERA with a 37:8 K:BB across 34 frames. He'll carry a strong 2.70 overall ERA into his next start, which is slated to come in Atlanta next week.

Perez didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on two hits and two walks across five innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Perez's outstanding stretch of play continued Sunday, allowing fewer than three runs for a fifth consecutive outing. He's allowed fewer than four hits in all but one of those appearances. In nine starts this season, the 22-year-old has a 3.07 ERA and a 46:15 K:BB across 44 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Cardinals next time out.

Perez (3-3) took the loss after throwing five innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five, during Monday's 2-1 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Perez gave the Marlins five solid innings, but the team did not give him much offense to work with in a loss he probably deserved better in. The right-hander has really cemented his status as the top pitcher for Miami since returning from Tommy John surgery, working on a streak of seven straight starts allowing three runs or fewer going back to his second start this season. The 22-year-old has been especially good over his last four starts, going 3-1 with a stingy 1.17 ERA while allowing just 11 hits and striking out 26 batters over 23 innings. His next start is lined up to be on the road at the red-hot Brewers.

Perez (3-2) earned the win in Sunday's contest at Baltimore, yielding three hits and no walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The Miami right-hander notched his third consecutive victory, as he dominated the Orioles with 16 whiffs out of his 84 total pitches. The Baltimore lineup never threatened to score a run off Perez, who managed to contain his opponents to just four baserunners -- a double, two singles and a hit-by-pitch. After a shaky 6.19 ERA across his first four starts, Perez has been masterful in his last three appearances with a 0.53 ERA, 0.41 WHIP and 21:1 K:BB across 17 innings.

Perez (2-2) yielded a run on two hits over five innings Tuesday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Perez coughed up a solo shot to Matt McLain in the first inning but was otherwise nearly untouchable in the win. It was Perez's second straight win after beginning his 2025 campaign 0-2 through four outings. He's produced a terrific 15:1 K:BB while allowing only one run over 11 innings during those two victories. Perez now owns a 4.00 ERA with a 29:11 K:BB through 27 innings this season. He's lined up to start in Baltimore this weekend.

Perez (1-2) picked up the win Thursday, allowing one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings in a 4-1 victory over the Twins. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old right-hander didn't make his 2025 debut until June 9 as he completed his recovery from Tommy John surgery, and while he had a bumpy beginning to his season, Perez appeared to turn a corner Thursday. He tossed 51 of 80 pitches for strikes, including a massive 20 swinging strikes, and he topped out at 99.5 mph with his fastball. It was Perez's first MLB win since June 25, 2023, and he'll look to build on this success in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road early next week in Cincinnati.

Perez allowed three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Perez's pitch count got up early, and he was shaky in the fifth inning, allowing a leadoff homer to Jake McCarthy and a walk before Ronny Henriquez took over in relief. Perez has yet to complete five innings in any of his four starts since returning from Tommy John surgery, but he was at 93 pitches (59 strikes) Friday, his second outing with a roughly full workload. There will still be some rust to shake off, as evidenced by his 6.19 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 14:10 K:BB over 16 innings. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Twins.

Perez (0-2) took the loss against Atlanta on Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Perez allowed a run in the first inning and was charged with two more before failing to escape the fifth. While the 22-year-old has yet to complete five frames in any of his three starts since debuting June 9, he threw 58 of 89 pitches for strikes with 13 whiffs and touched 100 mph twice with his fastball. He'll carry a 6.17 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, and 11:7 K:BB across 11.2 innings into a tough matchup with the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Perez did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over Washington. He allowed a run on four hits and three walks over four innings and did not record a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Perez gave up a run in the first inning and worked around some traffic to prevent the Nationals from scoring again. He failed to strike out a batter after recording five over three frames in his season debut against the Pirates. Perez threw 52 of 79 pitches for strikes but still issued three free passes. He'll carry a 6.43 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against Atlanta.

Perez (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Pirates after giving up four runs on four hits and two walks in three innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Perez was likely operating under a pitch count in his first major-league start since 2023, but it was highly encouraging to see him touch 99 mph with his fastball eight times following last year's Tommy John surgery. The Pirates did their damage in a four-run third inning, when they got five consecutive hitters to reach base to begin the frame. Perez possesses plenty of swing-and-miss stuff, as he was one of baseball's top pitching prospects back in 2023, but it could take him some time to settle back in at the big-league level. He'll try to stretch out a bit further in his next outing, currently projected for this weekend against the Nationals.
