Erick Fedde Tagged For Six Runs Monday rotoballer.com Tue 9/1/20 10:23 AM
Washington Nationals starter Erick Fedde allowed six runs on four hits across six innings of work during Monday's 8-6 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He struck out four batters while walking one. Fedde surrendered two solo shots through the first two innings, but a three-run double by Jean Segura in the fourth inning was the fatal blow. Fedde now owns a 1-3 record on the season to go along with a 4.71 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 10/11 K/BB rate. His glaring lack of swing-and-miss abilities makes ...
Erick Fedde Struggles In Tuesday's Loss rotoballer.com Wed 8/26/20 10:53 AM
Washington Nationals starter Erick Fedde allowed four runs on seven hits across five innings of work during Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He struck out one batter while also walking one. Fedde is Stephen Strasburg's (hand) replacement in the rotation for the time being, but it is unclear whether or not he will stick in that role. He has a respectable 3.57 ERA through 22 2/3 innings in 2020, but his .268 BABIP and six strikeouts suggest that a regression to the mean may be ...
Erick Fedde Optioned To Triple-A Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 3/26/20 11:03 PM
The Washington Nationals optioned starting pitcher Erick Fedde to Triple-A Fresno on Thursday. Fedde was a candidate for the final spot in the rotation, but it's not a huge surprise given the fact that he had options remaining while Joe Ross and Austin Voth did not. Ross and Voth are now in competition for the No. 5 spot, with the loser of the battle ending up in long relief out of the bullpen. Fedde should get his chance eventually during the 2020 season, though, and he'd certainly become an...
Erick Fedde May Start In Minors rotoballer.com Thu 2/20/20 8:22 PM
Washington Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde is eligible for a fourth year of minor league options because he's accrued fewer than five full seasons in the majors or minors. Fedde was drafted in 2014 but didn't start pitching in the minors until June of 2015 because of Tommy John surgery. Because he has another year of options, Fedde is unlikely to win a rotation spot over Joe Ross and Austin Voth, who are both out of options. The right-hander has shown glimpses of his potential over the...
Erick Fedde Solid on Wednesday rotoballer.com Thu 7/18/19 10:39 AM
Washington Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde gave his team a quality start on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Fedde tossed six innings of one-run ball, allowing just five hits while striking out two batters. When called upon in 2019, Fedde has given Washington some good innings. He now sports a respectable 3.50 ERA. However, his peripherals are concerning and he could be due for some regression rather quickly. Temper your expectations the next time Fedde takes the bump.
Erick Fedde To Start Wednesday rotoballer.com Tue 7/16/19 9:02 PM
Washington Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde will make the start on Wednesday against the Orioles, according to manager Dave Martinez. Stephen Strasburg will get the nod on Thursday against the Braves on the road. Fedde, 26, is 1-1 on the year with a 3.79 ERA, 1.39 [...]

Erick Fedde Struggles in Loss Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 6/13/19 10:34 PM
Washington Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde took a loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks Thursday after allowing five runs in six innings. Fedde walked three batters while only striking out one in the 5-0 defeat. Fedde entered the game with a 2.93 ERA without the peripherals to back it up, including a 4.81 xFIP and 4.95 SIERA. Thursday's start is more in line with what to expect from Fedde going forward. Next in line are the Phillies, an easy avoid in most any league.

Digging Deeper: NL-Only Waiver Wire Report for Week 8 rotoballer.com Wed 5/22/19 10:30 AM
Every week in baseball, a significant player will hit the disabled list, slip into a slump, or get traded out of a good spot. How fantasy owners adapt to these situations can make or break the season as a whole. One lousy add might not hurt the long-term standing of a team, but failing to take advantage of breakouts or impact bats before others sure can.The primary challenge of playing in an NL or AL-only league is often the lack of options regarding adding and subtracting players when needed. I[...]
