Edwin Maysonet has elected free agency. Maysonet appeared in 30 games with the Brewers this season, but will evidently look to continue his career elsewhere. Entering his age 31 campaign, he would do well to secure a minor league contract and compete for a roster spot in spring training.

The 30-year-old hit .250/.297/.350 with one homer and four RBI in 30 games with the Brewers this season. Assuming he passes through waivers, he will continue to serve as organizational depth at Triple-A Nashville.
