Cabrera (shoulder) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk with four strikeouts across three innings at Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday. He's scheduled to pitch again Tuesday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Cabrera was pegged for the loss Wednesday, he turned in a quality showing in his first minor-league rehab appearance. The 26-year-old is expected to throw four innings or roughly 60 pitches Tuesday as the Marlins work to get Cabrera stretched out and ready to rejoin the big-league rotation. It's unclear if he'll require another appearance at Jacksonville before being activated.

Cabrera (shoulder) is scheduled to make a rehab start for Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins have signed off on Cabrera advancing the final phase of his rehab program from a right shoulder impingement after he came out of a live bullpen session Monday without issue. According to De Nicola, the Marlins are targeting Cabrera for three innings or 50 pitches Wednesday, so he'll likely require an additional rehab outing beyond that to get fully stretched out for a typical starter's workload.

Cabrera (shoulder) threw two innings and 35 pitches in a live bullpen session Friday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The bullpen session was Cabrera's second of the week; he previously threw a 30-pitch up-and-down session Tuesday. Cabrera could take the next step forward this week by facing hitters in live batting practice before he heads out on a minor-league rehab assignment that will likely consist of one or two starts. He's been on the injured list since May 8 with a right shoulder impingement and isn't expected to rejoin the Miami rotation until late June or early July.

Cabrera (shoulder) played catch from 60 feet Monday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera had to be shut down again after throwing a bullpen session on May 17, but he's been cleared to try to ramp things back up. The right-hander has been on the injured list on two occasions this season with a right shoulder issue and there is currently no timetable for his return.

Cabrera (shoulder) has yet to resume throwing after a May 17 bullpen session, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins elected to shut Cabrera down after the session, and the club is still trying to figure out the best plan for the right-hander to begin ramping up again. He received an injection in his shoulder May 8, but his stop-start progress since then isn't encouraging. It seems unlikely Cabrera will be back in the big-league rotation before late June.

Cabrera (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It will be his first time throwing off the bump since he landed on the 15-day injured list on May 8 with a right shoulder impingement. Cabrera has been on the IL twice this season with the same injury and it's not clear how long he'll be sidelined this time around, but he's on the comeback trail.

The Marlins placed Cabrera on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with a right shoulder impingement.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera was removed after two innings during his start in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Dodgers with what was referred to as right biceps discomfort, but it's officially a shoulder impingement that will force him to the IL. It's the same injury that kept him out for the first few weeks of the season. Cabrera will be eligible to return from the IL later this month, but there's currently no timetable for the righty.

Cabrera was removed from his start Tuesday against the Dodgers due to right biceps discomfort, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera's biceps have given him problems numerous times across the past three seasons, though it's not immediately apparent how severe his latest flare-up is. He was only able to get through two innings before coming out of Tuesday's game, allowing one hit -- a Max Muncy grand slam -- in the process.

Cabrera didn't factor into Thursday's decision against the Rockies, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks while striking out nine over four innings.
EDGE Analysis
Three of the Rockies' four runs against Cabrera came on a Jacob Stallings homer in the second inning. Cabrera had the strikeout pitch working Thursday, though his command remained inconsistent, as he'd eventually need 91 pitches to record 12 outs. Cabrera's now been held to fewer than five innings in consecutive starts. His ERA is up to 6.05 with a 1.50 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB through his first four starts (19.1 innings). Cabrera's currently lined up for a tough road matchup with the Dodgers in his next outing.

Cabrera (1-1) took the loss Saturday versus the Nationals, yielding six runs (five earned) on four hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera cruised through the first two frames, striking out three while allowing just one runner to reach base. It was a struggle after that, though, with the big blow coming in the fifth inning when Jesse Winker walloped a grand slam. Cabrera twirled a gem in his first start earlier this month, but his second outing wasn't great and this one was worse. Further inconsistency should be expected.
