Rodriguez (3-7) took the loss against the Tigers on Monday, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez allowed runs in four different innings, including home runs in the fourth and sixth. The long ball has become an issue for the southpaw, who's surrendered seven homers across four July outings while posting a 7.40 ERA during that span. He'll carry a 5.63 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and 98:34 K:BB over 92.2 innings into a road matchup with the Athletics this weekend.

Rodriguez was removed from Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Astros with one out in the seventh inning after a comebacker hit him on the inside of his leg, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez waved off manager Torey Lovullo and the team's athletic trainer, but Lovullo pulled him from the game. "He was okay. Probably could have gone a little bit extra, but I felt like he had done his job at that point," Lovullo said. Rodriguez was at the 90-pitch mark and probably wouldn't have come out for the eighth. The left-hander is expected to take his next turn in the rotation Monday against the Tigers.

Rodriguez allowed six hits and three walks while striking out three over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez still gave up a bit too much in terms of baserunners, but he was effective at keeping them from scoring. This was his first start since July 10, as the Diamondbacks built in a little extra time off around the All-Star break for the struggling southpaw, which appears to have paid immediate dividends. He trimmed his ERA from 5.94 to 5.50 and also has a 1.65 WHIP and 93:32 K:BB across 86.2 innings through 17 starts this season. Rodriguez is projected for another tough interleague matchup early next week, when he's slated to toe the rubber in Detroit.

Rodriguez (3-6) allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings to take the loss Thursday versus the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez's July is off to a terrible start, as he's allowed 13 runs (12 earned) across 8.1 innings in his two starts this month. He's had particular trouble with the long ball, surrendering five homers across those outings, including serving up solo shots to Fernando Tatis and Manny Machado in this contest. Even by his standards this year, Rodriguez has not been doing well lately. He's now at a 5.94 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 90:29 K:BB through 80.1 innings over 16 starts. He'll get some extra time off for the All-Star break, which could be just the pause he needs to reset and get on track for the second half.

Rodriguez (3-5) allowed nine runs (eight earned) on 12 hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over 4.1 innings to take the loss Friday versus the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez got off to a sour start, allowing three runs in each of the first two innings. He gave up a total of three home runs, including two to Vinnie Pasquantino. Rodriguez had a strong June, pitching to a 1.98 ERA despite a 1.32 WHIP over 27.1 innings, but the nine runs allowed Friday were a season high for the southpaw. He's now at a 5.78 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 87:27 K:BB across 76.1 innings through 15 starts. He'll try to get back on track next week in a start tentatively projected to be on the road versus the Padres.

Rodriguez allowed a run on four hits and three walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Marlins on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez threw 108 pitches (63 strikes) in the outing, but the Diamondbacks' bullpen cost him his chance at a second consecutive win. After returning from a shoulder injury, Rodriguez was sharp in June, allowing seven runs (six earned) over 27.2 innings while adding a 28:9 K:BB in that span. It's a significant improvement from where he was at before the injury -- his early struggles are still evident in his season-long numbers, as he has a 5.13 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 80:27 K:BB over 72 innings across 14 starts. The southpaw is set for a home start versus the Royals next week.

Rodriguez (3-4) earned the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing five hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out 10.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw notched his third game of double-digit Ks and third quality start of the season with this 92-pitch performance. Rodriguez entered this month with an unsightly 7.05 ERA; however, things were better under the hood as evidenced by a 4.28 FIP and 10.5 K/9. He has been much improved so far in June, pitching to a 2.05 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 22:6 K:BB across 22 innings. The 32-year-old is scheduled to take his next turn in the rotation in Arizona's home series against Miami this weekend.

Rodriguez (2-4) took the loss Wednesday against the Blue Jays, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez got off to a rocky start, giving up a leadoff homer to Bo Bichette in the first inning. He'd manage to settle in, holding the Jays to one unearned run over his final 3.2 innings, though Arizona couldn't overcome the early deficit in an 8-1 defeat. It's been an up-and-down year thus far for Rodriguez, who sports a 5.93 ERA with a 1.62 WHIP and 64:22 K:BB across 12 starts (60.2 innings). The left-hander is tentatively lined up to face the White Sox on the road in his next outing.

Rodriguez (2-3) earned the win against the Mariners on Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 6.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez needed just 81 pitches to work into the seventh inning, earning his first win since April 27. The southpaw generated 14 swinging strikes and has allowed four earned runs over 11.1 innings since returning from the injured list Friday. He'll carry a 6.27 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 60:19 K:BB across 56 innings into a road matchup with the Blue Jays next week.

Rodriguez gave up two runs on six hits and no walks in five innings before Friday's game against the Reds was suspended in the seventh inning. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez worked rather efficiently in his first MLB start since May 14, throwing 48 of his 72 pitches for strikes while not issuing a free pass for only the second time in 2025. While he did match his second-lowest strikeout total of the year, the 32-year-old southpaw tossed at least five innings while yielding two runs or fewer for the third time over his 10 outings. Rodriguez has a strong 55:18 K:BB through 49.2 innings, but his 6.70 ERA and 1.65 WHIP have left a lot to be desired. He'll look improve his ratios his next time out versus the Mariners, which is slated for next week.
