Floro was called up to Chicago on Monday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Floro owns just a 5.06 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 16 innings for Iowa, but he was impressive enough in spring training to catch the front office's eye and earn this call-up. He has one previous major league stint, in 2016, when he allowed a 4.20 ERA and 23 hits over 15 innings with the Rays. Floro has been throwing multiple innings in his stints with Iowa and could be used in a mop-up or long relief role while he sticks around the majors.

Floro (arm) has yet to allow a run in three spring appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Including Thursday's scoreless frame against the Reds, the right-hander also has been displaying excellent control with 10 of his 16 pitches going for strikes and only two batters reaching base against him. Floro is a long-shot to earn a roster spot given he's not even on the 40-man roster, but he could be headed for Chicago later in the season if he continues to find success in the bullpen at Triple-A Iowa.

Floro (arm) was outrighted to Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Floro cleared waivers Friday after being designated for assignment Wednesday. Although he's no longer on the Cubs' 40-man roster, he will report to major league spring training. Floro made 12 appearances with the Rays in 2016, notching a 4.20 ERA with a 1.87 WHIP across 15.0 innings.

Floro (arm) was designated for assignment by the Cubs on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The North-Siders made a move for former top prospect Eddie Butler which required a 40-man roster spot to be opened up, ultimately ending Floro's time on the 40-man. The Cal State Fullerton product found some success in the minor leagues last season, posting a 2.88 ERA and a 1.6 BB/9 in 50 innings in relief, so he could garner some interest during the waiver period even with the arm soreness he experienced at the back end of 2016.

Floro (arm) was claimed off waivers by the Cubs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander transitioned to the bullpen last season and found some success in the minor leagues thanks to impeccable control. Floro was hit hard at the major league level, though, so it seems like a bit more time at Triple-A is still in the cards for the 26-year-old.

Floro (arm) was designated for assignment on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Rays needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster, and Floro, who finished the year on DL with a sore arm, was a natural candidate. He should provided organizational relief depth this year, provided he enters camp healthy.

Floro (arm soreness) was placed on the DL at Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old southpaw had most recently pitched with the big league club on Aug. 14 against the Yankees, and generated a 4.20 ERA over 15 innings with the Rays in a month-plus stint with the Rays earlier this summer. Floro's deactivation reportedly comes as the result of a sore arm, making it unlikely he returns before the conclusion of the Bulls' season on Sept. 5.

Floro was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Monday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Floro has been less-than-stellar out of the bullpen since being recalled in early July, posting a 4.20 ERA and 1.87 WHIP across 15.0 innings. The 25-year-old will now return to Triple-A with the Rays in need of a spot on the 25-man roster after activating Logan Morrison on Monday.

Floro has given up seven earned runs in 11.2 innings pitched this season.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie out of Cal State Fullerton has allowed at least one run in six out of his 10 relief appearances this season. Unsurprisingly, Floro now holds a 5.40 ERA along with a 2.23 WHIP.

Floro fared better in his second major league appearance, giving up only a hit and a walk over two scoreless innings in a 4-1 loss to the Red Sox on Saturday. He also recorded a pair of strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old southpaw had a somewhat rocky debut July 7 versus the Angels, giving up an earned run on three hits over 1.1 innings. Floro was much more impressive in his encore, going through the heart of a dangerous Red Sox order largely unscathed. He gave up a leadoff double to Jackie Bradley, Jr. to start the eighth, but otherwise retired the likes of Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts and David Ortiz, while also fanning Aaron Hill and Sandy Leon. Floro is expected to provide some help for a highly-used Rays relief corps in lower-leverage scenarios.
