Floro has been throwing multiple innings in his stints with Iowa and could be used in a mop-up or long relief role while he sticks around the majors.

Floro was much more impressive in his encore, going through the heart of a dangerous Red Sox order largely unscathed. He gave up a leadoff double to Jackie Bradley, Jr. to start the eighth, but otherwise retired the likes of Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts and David Ortiz, while also fanning Aaron Hill and Sandy Leon. Floro is expected to provide some help for a highly-used Rays relief corps in lower-leverage scenarios.
