Fowler was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury in Thursday's game against the White Sox, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Making his MLB debut Thursday, Fowler crashed into the right field wall in foul territory chasing down a Jose Abreu fly ball. He hit the wall at close to full speed and tried to walk it off but fell to the ground almost immediately. Fowler remained on the ground for several minutes before he was finally taken off on a cart. It's too early to tell the severity of the injury, but Fowler being carted off does not bode well. More information on his status should be made available late Thursday or early Friday, but this is yet another blow to a Yankees club that has been bit hard by the injury bug of late.

Fowler will make his big-league debut Thursday in right field, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler earned the promotion up to the Yankees with stellar numbers at the Triple-A level, hitting .292/.329/.542 for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The 22-year-old will face right-hander James Shields and the White Sox during his first start, while batting sixth in the order.

Fowler was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler had been posting tremendous numbers for the RailRiders over 70 games, slashing .292/.329/.542 with a career-best 13 long balls. He also offers the Yankees a threat on the basepaths, as the 22-year-old has mixed in 13 steals with those power numbers. The path to everyday playing time in New York is unclear at this time, especially after Jacoby Ellsbury was activated Monday, but he'll at least help cushion the loss of Aaron Hicks (oblique), who hit the 10-day disabled list Sunday. An official move is expected to be announced by the Yankees later Thursday.

Fowler is slashing .301/.338/.560 with nine home runs through 50 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this year.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler is making the Yankees take notice, as he's already just three home runs away from his personal-best, and has also added seven steals into the mix. The 22-year-old was passed up for a call-up even with the big league club down an outfielder with Jacoby Ellsbury (concussion) on the DL, but if Fowler keeps hitting like this he may force his way up to the majors at some point soon.

Fowler, 22, is slashing .303/.350/.550 with four home runs, 15 RBI and four steals through 26 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
EDGE Analysis
The toolsy Fowler has been even better of late, hitting a robust .422 over his last 10 contests. The Yankees outfield is rather crowded right now, but Fowler is an underrated piece who could be used as trade bait should the Bronx Bombers decide to boost their starting rotation at some point in 2017.

Fowler was reassigned to minor league camp Friday, Brendan Kuty of The Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
The speedster, who swiped 25 bases in two straight farm seasons, should occupy an outfield spot next to Clint Frazier at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to begin 2017. New York's outfield depth chart is stacked, but Fowler sits near the top in terms of a promotion, so fantasy players should have him on their radars for a possible MLB stint sometime later this year.

Fowler was invited to Yankees camp for spring training.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old spent 2016 with Double-A Trenton, slashing a healthy .281/.311/.458 across 574 plate appearances while adding 12 homers, 88 RBI, and 25 stolen bases. He's shown potential in the minors, but will likely spend another year developing there before he is considered for the big league club.
