Dustin Ackley had a single in four at-bats Friday against the Phillies in his major league debut. Ackley hit seventh for the Mariners. If he does well there, he could eventually be moved up to the two hole. The team would certainly like to see him settle in as a No. 2 or 3 hitter for the long haul.
