Angels signed OF Doug Deeds to a minor league contract. Deeds, 30, has 10 minor league seasons with four different organizations, compiling a .293 average, .370 on-base percentage, 92 homers and 449 RBIs. He is expected to provide depth at Triple-A Salt Lake.
