Robertson earned his 10th save of the year Friday against the Red Sox, retiring the side in order in the ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson was tasked with protecting a one-run lead and got the job done in straightforward fashion, needing just eight pitches to get a flyout and a pair of groundouts. The outing lowered his ERA to 1.80. Just how many more saves he'll record for the Cubs is unclear, as the 37-year-old is on an expiring contract and should be a trade target for several contenders.

Robertson (2-0) pitched a perfect 1.1 innings of relief while striking out two to pick up the win in a 6-5 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson came into a tie game with a man on first and two out in the ninth. He got out of the inning and pitched a clean bottom of the tenth after Willson Contreras had put the Cubs up in the top half of the frame. The veteran reliever continues to have success in the closer role for a Cubs team that has struggled immensely with pitching in so far in 2022. Robertson boasts a .139 OBA on the year and has struck out an excellent 39 batters in 29 innings pitched.

Robertson hit a batter and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-0 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson blew the save Thursday versus the Pirates, but Cubs manager David Ross went right back to him Friday. Outside of plunking Brendan Donovan, Robertson was solid to earn his ninth save in 12 chances this season. The 37-year-old reliever has added a 1.95 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 37:13 K:BB across 27.2 innings, performing admirably as the Cubs' closer, though their poor 27-44 record hasn't afforded him a ton of save opportunities.

Robertson allowed one run on one hit across an inning of work to blow the save in Thursday's extra-inning loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
With the Cubs up 7-6 heading into the bottom of the eighth inning, Robertson got the call from the bullpen, but he promptly allowed a game-tying home run to Michael Chavis to start the frame. It was the third blown save of the season for the veteran in 11 opportunities. Despite those hiccups, Robertson has been solid with a 2.03 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 36 strikeouts across 26.2 innings.

EDGE Analysis
Robertson threw just 10 of 26 pitches for strikes and loaded the bases after a pair of walks and a hit batter. He escaped the threat with his eighth save of the year and first since May 31. The veteran righty lowered his season ERA to 1.82 with a 34:13 K:BB through 22 appearances.

Robertson pitched a scoreless ninth inning with a strikeout to record the save in Tuesday's win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
After blowing a save in his last outing Sunday, Robertson bounced back nicely with his seventh save in nine chances this season. The two blown saves have been about the only blemish for the veteran righty, who has a stellar 1.96 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 24 strikeouts across 18.1 innings so far in 2022.

Robertson blew a save opportunity in the ninth, allowing a run on two hits while striking out one in a 5-4 extra-innings loss Sunday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
After striking out the first batter, Robertson allowed hits to the next two batters and threw a wild pitch to allow the tying run to score. It was his second blown save in his last three tries after converting his first five chances. The 14-year veteran started the season by tossing 11 scoreless innings but has allowed four runs over his last 6.1 innings. He still has a solid 2.08 ERA and 0.93 WHIP through 17.1 innings and should continue to receive the bulk of the save opportunities for the Cubs.

Robertson pitched a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to record the save in Monday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
After blowing his first save of the season in Saturday's loss to the Diamondbacks, Robertson bounced back with another stellar effort. Outside of that blown save, the righty has allowed just one run in one of his 13 other appearances this year. Overall, the veteran has six saves to go with a sparkling 1.76 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 22 strikeouts across 15.1 innings. He remains the top relief option on the Cubs roster at this point.

Robertson was charged with a blown save after pitching 1.1 innings, giving up one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out one in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson was called on to replace Scott Effross in the top of the eighth inning with a runner on base and a 4-2 lead. He promptly gave up an RBI double to Jake McCarthy to bring it within one and then a game-tying single to Daulton Varsho before the inning's end. The 37-year-old returned for the ninth frame, giving up another hit and two walks before working his way out of the jam and producing a scoreless inning. The blown save was his first of the season -- he converted his first five opportunities before Saturday. Robertson now owns a 1.88 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 20 strikeouts over 14.1 innings and remains the favorite for saves on the Cubs.

Robertson (illness) was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Wednesday, Tim Stebbins of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson spent a week and a half on the COVID-19 IL, but he played catch Saturday and rejoined the Cubs ahead of Wednesday's series finale against the Pirates. He's converted all five of his save chances while posting a 1.50 ERA and 0.75 WHIP in 12 innings over 11 appearances this year, and he should take over as the team's closer now that he's healthy.
