David Robertson (foot) had a successful 25-pitch bullpen session Sunday and expect to pitch in a game by next weekend at the latest. It's good news, as Robertson admitted just Friday that his foot was still feeling a little sore. Barring a setback, it appears that the Yankees can count on having him available on Opening Day. Robertson led all American League relievers in ERA and strikeouts last season.

David Robertson (foot) still feels "a little" soreness in his right foot. To this point, he's only been allowed to run on the treadmill, but he's hoping to be able to run outside soon. The Yanks hope to have him throwing off a mound by the end of the weekend. Barring a setback, Robertson should still be ready for Opening Day.

David Robertson (foot) has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and will wear a walking boot until Monday. It's good news for the Yankees, as Robertson doesn't have any broken bones and an MRI also came back clean. He will begin to work his way back to action after the boot is removed, and manager Joe Girardi said he "would think" the right-hander would be ready for Opening Day. Robertson, who will turn 27 in a month, will set up again for Mariano Rivera this season after posting a 1.08 ERA and 100/35 K/BB ratio over 66 2/3 innings in 2011.
