Robertson tossed a scoreless inning in his spring debut Tuesday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
He hit the first batter he faced, but Robertson induced a double play from Adrian Gonzalez before getting Scott Van Slyke to ground out to end the inning. Robertson enters Year 2 of his four-year deal with the White Sox having a firm hold on the closer's role, with the potential to improve upon the 3.41 ERA he posted over 60 appearances last season.

Robertson tossed a clean ninth inning to record his 32nd save in the White Sox 5-2 win over the Yankees on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson has 32 saves in 39 chances - certainly not an automatic ending to games, and he has suffered a rough September. He went through a stretch of three games where he allowed nine runs (seven earned), and that has been a good depiction of his season - stretches of dominance, and stretches of extreme vulnerability.

Robertson managed to secure his 30th save in spite of surrendering three hits and two earned runs in one inning in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Indians. He also struck out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
It marked the third consecutive outing in which Robertson has made it interesting in the late innings, with the White Sox closer giving up a one-out, two-run homer in the ninth to Kelly Johnson to pull the Indians within a run. The veteran reliever then surrendered a single to Abraham Almonte and eventually secured the final out of the ballgame, and the save, by picking him off first base. Despite Saturday's narrow escape, Robertson's 21.00 ERA and two homers surrendered over his last three innings has to be somewhat concerning to both his team and fantasy owners.

Robertson (6-4) took the loss and was charged with his seventh blown save of the season in a 4-2 defeat to the As on Thursday. He surrendered three hits, three earned runs and walk in one inning while also striking out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson invited trouble by yielding a one-out double to Brett Lawrie and a single by Danny Valencia before Billy Butler plated both with a blast to right field. After a streak of eight consecutive appearances without allowing an earned run, Robertson has now given up seven runs (five earned) over his last two innings. The blown save also broke a streak of six consecutive successful conversions of save opportunities for the veteran reliever.

Robertson was claimed off revocable waivers by the Yankees on Monday, but a deal is highly unlikely, CBS Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox likely placed Robertson on waivers hoping he would go through unclaimed, and now the likely scenario involves the club taking him off waivers and keeping him. Assuming that's the case, he should continue in the White Sox's closer role the rest of the way.

Robertson pitched two perfect innings against the Marinrs on Sunday to earn his sixth win of the season.
EDGE Analysis
It was his first time throwing two innings since early-June, and the 29 pitches were the fourth-most he has thrown in a game this season. With an off-day Monday, the extra effort should not impact his availability for the team's upcoming series against the Twins.

Robertson worked a perfect ninth inning Saturday, striking out one, to notch his 18th save of the season.
Not much has gone right for the White Sox so far, but Robertson at least has been as effective as advertised as their closer and he now sports a 2.60 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 49:7 K:BB ratio in 34.2 innings on the season.

Robertson allowed two runs on three hits against the Tigers on Thursday, but he still earned his 15th save of the season.
He allowed four baserunners and two runs with only one out in the top of the ninth, and then it took an intentional walk to Miguel Cabrera to get out of the jam. This was his second struggle-filled outing of the week, and he has issued four of his seven walks this season over his past four starts. Still, he remains an elite ninth inning option, and his quantity of saves will only be limited by the White Sox's ability to provide him with leads.

Robertson struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to notch his 14th save of the season.
While his four blown saves on the season seems ugly, Robertson's 2.43 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 41:5 K:BB ratio in 29.2 innings show that he's been just as dominant as the White Sox thought he would be when they signed him to be their closer.

Robertson pitched a scoreless ninth to pick up his 13th save of the season in Wednesday's win over the Astros.
Robertson got his 13th save in 16 tries and has now lowered his ERA to 2.03. He also has a 0.79 WHIP and an impressive 38:3 K:BB ratio in 26.2 innings this season. His position as the White Sox closer is secure.
