Manager Robin Ventura expects Robertson (personal) to return to the team Sunday, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson landed on the bereavement list Thursday while attending to a personal matter, but it appears he will be able to rejoin his teammates after being deactivated for the minimum of three days. Ventura mentioned all of Nate Jones, Matt Albers, and Zach Duke as options to close games in Robertson's absence, but Jones seems like the best bet of the bunch if the White Sox need to protect a ninth-inning lead until Robertson returns.

Robertson was placed on the bereavement list ahead of Thursday's game against the Orioles, Scot Gregor of the Daily Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson will have to miss a minimum of three games, ruling him out at least until Sunday. Nate Jones, Matt Albers and Zach Duke could all be in the mix for ninth-inning work while Robertson is away from the team. Meanwhile, infielder Carlos Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte for the corresponding transaction.

Robertson saved his seventh game with a perfect ninth inning while striking out three Sunday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After blowing his first save of the season Saturday, Robertson was back to his dominating ways as he protected a three-run lead. He's only made eight appearances this season, but seven of those have resulted in saves, and he has a stellar 1.08 ERA.

Robertson allowed two hits, but he recorded a rare four-out save in Chicago's 2-1 victory over the Angels on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The two singles he yielded were the first hits against Robertson this season, but otherwise, he remained perfect. Robertson has six appearances, all of which were save situations, and he nailed the door down in all of them. He also has six strikeouts, one walk and no runs allowed.

Robertson struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to earn his fifth save of the season in Thursday's 3-1 win against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old is now 5-for-5 in save opportunities and on a record-breaking pace to start 2016. Robertson has yet to allow a hit and has only walked one while striking out six in five innings of work.

Robertson earned his second save of the season with a perfect ninth inning against the A's on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Following Jimmy Rollins' go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth, Robertson made quick work of the A's, retiring the side on 13 pitches. Robertson issued a leadoff walk in his first save chance Monday, but then went strikeout, flyout, groundout to end it. He only pitched on three consecutive days twice last season.

Robertson picked up his first save in Monday's Opening Day win over the Athletics. He struck out one and gave up a walk, but no hits.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson was able to work around the leadoff walk without incident. His peripherals were great as usual last season (12.2 K/9, 1.85 BB/9), but he finished with a mediocre 3.41 ERA. Robertson's stuff is just about as good as it gets among closers, but he last posted an ERA below 3.00 in 2013. If he can keep the ball in ballpark this year, get back to that level again.

Robertson tossed a scoreless inning in his spring debut Tuesday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
He hit the first batter he faced, but Robertson induced a double play from Adrian Gonzalez before getting Scott Van Slyke to ground out to end the inning. Robertson enters Year 2 of his four-year deal with the White Sox having a firm hold on the closer's role, with the potential to improve upon the 3.41 ERA he posted over 60 appearances last season.

Robertson tossed a clean ninth inning to record his 32nd save in the White Sox 5-2 win over the Yankees on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Robertson has 32 saves in 39 chances - certainly not an automatic ending to games, and he has suffered a rough September. He went through a stretch of three games where he allowed nine runs (seven earned), and that has been a good depiction of his season - stretches of dominance, and stretches of extreme vulnerability.

Robertson managed to secure his 30th save in spite of surrendering three hits and two earned runs in one inning in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Indians. He also struck out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
It marked the third consecutive outing in which Robertson has made it interesting in the late innings, with the White Sox closer giving up a one-out, two-run homer in the ninth to Kelly Johnson to pull the Indians within a run. The veteran reliever then surrendered a single to Abraham Almonte and eventually secured the final out of the ballgame, and the save, by picking him off first base. Despite Saturday's narrow escape, Robertson's 21.00 ERA and two homers surrendered over his last three innings has to be somewhat concerning to both his team and fantasy owners.
