Lough is our of the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins, Matt Gelb of the Phildelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With left-hander Wei-Yin Chen starting on the bump for the Marlins, the left-hitting Lough will take a seat on the bench. In Lough's absence, Tyler Goeddel will start in left field and bat seventh.

Lough is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite right-hander Michael Wacha getting the start for St. Louis, the left-handed Lough will take a seat on the bench in favor of Darin Ruf in left field. This appears to be a regular day off, as he has emerged as one of the few offensive threats the Phillies have at the corner outfield positions with his .281 batting average since being called up.

Lough went 2-for-4 with a RBI in Friday's extra-inning win over the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Lough is hitting .286 (8-for-28) with three RBI and a stolen base in eight games since his recall from Triple-A. He will continue to see fairly regular playing time as long as he remains productive. The Phillies have received next to nothing offensively from Peter Bourjos and Tyler Goeddel.

Lough is not in the lineup against the Nationals on Wednesday, Ryan Lawrence of the Philly Voice reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting the first four games following his callup from Triple-A, Lough has been on the bench for three of the Phillies' last four games. It's unclear if this trend will continue for the outfielder, but it definitely hurts his already low value in the short term. Tyler Goeddel will play left field in his place.

Lough is not in the lineup Saturday against the Brewers, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting the last four games, Lough will get the day off as the Phillies go with an outfield of Darin Ruf in left, Odubel Herrera in center and Tyler Goeddel in right.

Lough went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in his first game of the season on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder was hitting .280 through six games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley before getting promoted Monday. Lough will have plenty of opportunity in the weak Philadelphia outfield, but he is a career .255 hitter with just 13 home runs and 16 stolen bases in nearly 700 Major League at-bats.

Lough was called up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and is starting in left field Monday versus the Mets, Ryan Lawrence of the Philly Voice reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lough is taking the spot of Cedric Hunter on the major league roster and will get the start right off the bat. That being said, he's in for quite the test, as the Mets have Noah Syndergaard on the mound Monday evening, making Lough's 2016 debut a fairly difficult one.

Lough is a candidate to be promoted from the minors if the Phillies don't start getting some production from their corner outfielders, Jeff Neiburg of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cedric Hunter and Peter Bourjos have provided little offensively thus far. Lough is hitting .280 with a double and a stolen base in six games at Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Will Venable and Darnell Sweeney are also candidates for a promotion if the Phillies decide to make a move.

The Phillies assigned Lough to minor league camp Tuesday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lough hit .256 (11-for-43) with a home run in 18 games this spring. He was in the mix for one of two available bench spots with the Phillies, but will instead open the year at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Mon 3/21/16 8:10 PM

Lough went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Monday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Lough is hitting .310 with a home run in 29 at-bats this spring. He remains in the mix for a bench spot with the Phillies, but may be behind fellow non-roster invitee Cedric Hunter. Both could earn roster spots if Cody Asche and Odubel Herrera are not ready for the start of the regular season.
