Fletcher went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Getting the start at third base and hitting ninth, Fletcher pushed his slash line to .324/.378/.412 through his first 37 big-league plate appearances. With Zack Cozart (shoulder) done for the year, Fletcher will split time at the hot corner with Luis Valbuena and potentially Kaleb Cowart for now, but given his .953 OPS for Triple-A Salt Lake in 58 games this year, the 24-year-old might be able to wrest away a majority of the starts if he continues to string together hits.

Fletcher came off the bench Sunday, going 0-for-1 in a 6-5 loss to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
After his three-hit debut Wednesday, Fletcher has started just one of the Halos' last three contests. He appears to have settled on the short side of a platoon with Jose Miguel Fernandez, with Luis Valbuena getting the start at either first or third base depending on whether the opposing starter is a righty or a lefty. This situation isn't ideal for Fletcher's fantasy value, and he will likely see his role diminish further when Zack Cozart (hamstring) returns from what should be a brief disabled list stint.

Fletcher started at third base and went 3-for-4 with a triple and a pair of RBI in Wednesday's loss to Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
It was quite the debut for the 24-year-old infielder, who made a heads-up defensive play to preserve a run in the seventh inning in addition to his contributions at the plate. Fletcher earned his promotion to the majors after slashing .350/.394/.559 with six homers and seven steals in 58 games with Triple-A Salt Lake this season, a drastic improvement from the .254/.285/.322 line he produced in 47 games at the same level last year. The Angels are dealing with several injuries to key contributors in their lineup, so the rookie may have earned a regular role with the club in the interim.

Fletcher had his contract selected by the Angels on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Fletcher -- who is slashing .350/.394/.559 with Triple-A Salt Lake this season -- will join the Angels on Tuesday with fellow infielders Andrelton Simmons (ankle) and Jefry Marte (wrist) both sidelined with injuries. The 24-year-old will likely operate in a reserve capacity with the big-league club.

Fletcher is hitting .353/.398/.566 with six home runs, seven stolen bases and a 16:21 BB:K across 270 plate appearances for Triple-A Salt Lake this season.
EDGE Analysis
Throughout all of his stops in the minors prior to this season, Fletcher has always displayed impressive contact skills along with a modicum of speed, but his lack of slugging production was expected to damage his chances of emerging as a big-league regular. The 24-year-old has seemingly altered his long-term outlook for the better in his repeat season at Triple-A, as he has maintained his high contact rate while tapping into more power than anticipated. Fletcher has already racked up minors-best 36 extra-base hits on the campaign, putting him well on track to top his total from the previous two years combined (47). Though the Angels currently have a void in the middle infield with Andrelton Simmons (ankle) on the 10-day disabled list, Fletcher's lack of a 40-man roster spot likely hurts his chances of a promotion in the near future, even though his performance at Salt Lake has warranted one.

Fletcher was promoted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Fletcher spent 84 games at the Double-A level over the past two seasons, and was hitting .276/.341/.354 with one home run and 22 RBI this year at the time of his promotion. The second baseman is one of the top 20 prospects in the Los Angeles system, and has displayed the ability to hit at each stage of his professional career thus far. Although he's not a power hitter by any means, Fletcher grinds out at-bats, and has dropped his strikeout rate to just 11 percent of all plate appearances this season. He has the ability to play at both infield positions, but will likely need some quality time with Salt Lake before gaining an opportunity in the big leagues.

Fletcher received an invitation to major league spring training Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
One of the organization's top prospects, Fletcher split 2016 between High-A Inland Empire and Double-A Arkansas and continued to display a lot of promise through his high contact rate and his advanced eye at the plate. He'll likely begin the season at Double-A before advancing further, but a trip to Triple-A by the season's end isn't out of the question if he continues to display his trademark plate discipline.
