Agrazal signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on May 19.
EDGE Analysis
Agrazal missed the entire 2020 campaign due to forearm tendinitis and was unable to secure a roster spot to begin the 2021 season. The right-hander will likely report to Triple-A Reno and could return to the majors at some point this year.

Agrazal (forearm) cleared waivers Tuesday and was outrighted to Triple-A Toledo.
EDGE Analysis
Agrazal was expected to be a member of the Tigers' rotation this season but wound up missing the entire season with forearm tendinitis. It's not clear whether or not the issue will continue bothering him heading into next season, but he'll be one step further away from the big leagues even if healthy now that he's off the 40-man roster.

Agrazal (forearm) was placed on the 45-day injured list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He had been sidelined with forearm tendinitis, but this essentially ends his 2020 season. Agrazal was throwing as recently as last week, so it looks like he is hoping to avoid surgery.

Agrazal (forearm) will throw a one-inning live batting practice session Friday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Agrazal was supposed to open the year in the Tigers' rotation but was diagnosed with a strained right forearm the day before his first scheduled start. The diagnosis has since been updated to forearm tendinitis. While it's certainly a positive that he's already progressed to live batting practice, his return date remains unclear.

Agrazal (forearm) will throw his first bullpen session Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Agrazal is on track for a lengthy absence after he was diagnosed with forearm tendinitis at the end of July. However, the team could get a better idea of his status for the remainder of the 2020 season based on how his arm feels following his throwing sessions.

Agrazal was diagnosed with forearm tendinitis and will rehab at the Tigers' satellite camp, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was originally diagnosed with a forearm strain, but after more tests the Tigers are calling it tendinitis. He hasn't been ruled out for the season, but it's possible we won't see him again until 2021.

Agrazal landed on the 10-day injured list with a right forearm strain Monday.
EDGE Analysis
A forearm strain is sometimes the first diagnosis of an injury that leads to a lengthy absence, though there's yet to be any indication of how long this particular case is supposed to keep Agrazal off the field. Anthony Castro was recalled in a corresponding move. Agrazal had been lined up to start Tuesday's game against the Royals. It's not clear whether or not Castro will start in his place.

Agrazal will open the season in the Tigers' starting rotation, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old made his major-league debut with the Pirates last season and had a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 41:18 K:BB over 73.1 innings (14 starts). Agrazal likely will only remain a member of the rotation until Daniel Norris (not injury related) is game ready after missing the first couple weeks of summer training.

The Tigers selected Agrazal's contract Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Now that he's been formally added to the 40-man roster and 30-man Opening Day roster, Agrazal is expected to slot in as Detroit's fifth starter. Once Daniel Norris (illness) is activated from the COVID-19 injured list or when Michael Fulmer -- who is slated to work as an opening pitcher to begin the season -- is fully stretched out, Agrazal will likely shift to the bullpen or get optioned to the Tigers' alternate training site.
