Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy (shoulder) will rejoin the starting rotation versus the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. Duffy pitched well during his rehab outing, so the Royals feel he's ready to return. He was able to throw almost 80 pitches during his rehab start. He should be able to surpass that number on Friday. However, he probably won't be a reliable DFS option for Friday.

After that, Duffy could go on a rehab assignment. He should return to KC's starting rotation when he's healthy, but fantasy owners won't be rushing to grab him after he posted a 4.88 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 8.2 K/9 in his 28 starts a season ago.
