Burawa will provide bullpen depth down the stretch for Atlanta, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll fall into a defined role.

Burawa had a terrible outing Sunday against the Tigers as he gave up three hits, four earned runs, and a home run during a one-out relief appearance for Masahiro Tanaka. Burawa has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre. Burawa has been serviceable at Triple-A in 2015, throwing a 1.75 ERA and 7.50 K/9 in 36.0 innings. He's being brought in to provide a fresh arm after Bryan Mitchell tossed three innings in Saturday's blowout win, so don't expect too high of an impact.

Burawa will start the season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Josh Norris of Baseball America reports. Burawa had a solid spring, posting a 2.70 ERA with eight strike outs in 6.2 innings of work but was always considered a long shot to make the big league roster out of camp. The 26-year-old struggled at the Triple-A level last season, putting up a 5.95 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 31 appearances, so he'll likely have to perform consistently there before being considered for a promotion.
