Sanchez came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's win over the Cubs, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out four in 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez was cruising until Nico Hoerner got a hold of one for a three-run blast in the fourth inning. Sanchez was pulled with two outs in the fifth after surrendering an RBI single, leaving him one out shy of earning his 12th win. The 27-year-old finishes his breakout season with a robust 3.32 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 153:44 K:BB in 181.2 innings (31 starts), setting career highs in wins, ERA and strikeouts. Although he did not have his best stuff tonight, Sanchez appears primed for the playoffs -- the southpaw posted a 1.80 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 25:7 K:BB in four September starts (25 innings) prior to Wednesday.

Sanchez (11-9) picked up the win Friday versus the Mets, allowing two runs on three hits and five walks over five innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Although he issued a career-high five walks, the 27-year-old lefty managed to collect a win thanks to the ability to induce grounders (70 percent groundball rate) in this contest. Out of the three hits Sanchez allowed, the only two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- came off the bat of leadoff hitter Jose Iglesias. Sanchez has been punching out batters at a greater clip over his last six starts, producing a 10.1 K/9 over his last 36.2 innings, compared to a 6.9 K/9 across his first 140.1 frames this season. He is slated to make his next outing against the Cubs at home next week.

Sanchez didn't factor into the decision Sunday against New York, allowing one run on six hits and a walk across seven-plus innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez threw seven shutout innings before returning to the mound to start the eighth frame. He yielded a leadoff homer to Tyrone Taylor and a single to Harrison Bader to start the eighth before being removed. Sanchez has struck out seven or more batters in four of his last five starts and has generated a quality start in five of his last six outings. He's tentatively scheduled for a rematch with the Mets next weekend.

Sanchez came away with a no-decision Monday against the Rays. He allowed four hits and a walk while striking out four over six scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez got through six innings and exited the game with the possibility of picking up his 11th win, but the bullpen couldn't hold the lead. Monday was Sanchez' fourth start this season of six or more innings without allowing a run and his first such start since June. The 27-year-old breakout season continues as he has 16 quality starts and a 3.33 ERA through 165 innings.

Sanchez (10-9) earned the win Wednesday over the Blue Jays, allowing two runs on six hits over seven innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez allowed a pair of runs on three doubles in the first inning before settling in to blank Toronto over his final six frames, allowing just three more hits. It was another strong outing from the left-hander, who's pitched to a 2.60 ERA over his last four outings (27.2 innings). Overall, Sanchez sports a 3.45 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 131:36 K:BB across a career-high 159 innings this season. He's currently slated to face the Rays at home early next week in his next start.

Sanchez allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out eight over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez had recorded a decision in 12 straight starts, going 6-6 with a 3.91 ERA over 76 innings in that span. He gave up three of the four runs on his line Thursday on a pair of home runs by Matt Olson, but Philadelphia was able to come from behind for the win. Sanchez hadn't given up multiple homers in any of his first 25 starts this season, though he's now yielded seven long balls over 10 starts since the beginning of July. He's pitched to a 3.49 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 124:36 K:BB through 152 innings over 26 starts this season. His next outing is projected to be at Toronto.

Sanchez (9-9) took the loss against Atlanta on Thursday, allowing three runs on nine hits and one walk over six innings while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez got knocked around early, surrendering seven hits and a walk over the first three frames as Atlanta took a 2-1 lead. The lefty would allow the leadoff man to reach in five of his six innings of work while also allowing nine hits on the night -- the second-most he's allowed in a start this season. On the bright side, Sanchez matched his third-highest strikeout total of the campaign in Thursday's loss and he's now posted quality starts in three of his last four outings.

Sanchez (9-8) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on two hits over nine innings in a 5-1 victory over the Nationals. He struck out four without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw was incredibly efficient in his second complete game of the season, firing 71 of 99 pitches for strikes, and an Alex Call solo shot in the fourth inning was the only blemish on his performance. Sanchez followed up his other nine-inning gem, a shutout of the Marlins on June 28, with a seven-run stinker against the Cubs -- an outing that began a tough stretch in which the 27-year-old posted a 6.63 ERA over the seven starts prior to Saturday. Sanchez will look to avoid a similar swoon in his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Atlanta.

Sanchez (8-8) took the loss Sunday against the Diamondbacks, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out four in 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks pushed a run across in the first before opening things up with four more runs in the third against Sanchez. He eventually exited after allowing back-to-back base hits in the fifth and both runners came around to score on a bases-clearing triple by Jake McCarthy. Sunday was Sanchez's first time going fewer than five innings since he gave up seven runs versus the Cubs on July 4, and his 12 hits allowed was a season worst. Sanchez has a 6.63 ERA over his last seven starts and is now up to 131.1 innings pitched this season, which is 32 more innings than his previous career high. He'll look to turn things around in a projected meeting against the Nationals over the weekend.

Sanchez (8-7) got the win Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing one run on five hits and a walk while striking out two over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Sanchez blanked the Dodgers into the sixth inning, but Teoscar Hernandez led off the frame with a double and eventually came around to score. The southpaw has now struck out just two batters in three of his past four starts, though on the bright side Tuesday marked his first time going at least six innings and allowing one run or zero since he threw a shutout June 28. The 27-year-old now owns a 3.27 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 100:32 K:BB in 126.2 innings and lines up to face the Diamondbacks over the weekend.
