Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth inning for his 15th save Wednesday against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
It was significantly less drama for Kimbrel than Tuesday's save, in which he loaded the bases before escaping with a scoreless inning. Kimbrel now has six saves in a row and now has 10 appearances with multiple strikeouts, a big reason why he owns a ludicrous 30:5 K:BB in 21.1 innings.

Kimbrel worked around two hits and a walk in a scoreless inning of work to earn his 14th save of the season Tuesday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel loaded the bases to put the tying run on second with two outs before retiring Seth Smith to end the game. It was an uncharacteristic outing for the flamethrower, who had allowed just three baserunners in his previous 6.2 innings. Kimbrel still owns a 2.21 ERA to go along with a 0.84 WHIP and is an elite fantasy closer despite the occasional hiccup.

Kimbrel worked a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 13th save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
It's the first time since April 25 that Kimbrel hasn't struck out a batter, but he also hasn't walked a batter since April 5. The veteran closer now has a 2.33 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB through 19.1 innings on the year, and he appears firmly on his way to his eighth straight season with at least 30 saves.

Kimbrel (1-1) threw 1.1 shutout innings and struck out three batters in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel gave up three hits and got into some trouble during the ninth inning, as he allowed runners to reach second and third base with just one out. However, the elite righty proceeded to strike out the next two batters and earned his first victory of the season. After 12 games (11.2 innings) Kimbrel now owns a 0.77 ERA and 0.86 WHIP.

Kimbrel (0-1) allowed a solo home run and was tagged with the loss in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning setback to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel came on in a tie game to pitch the 10th inning and got one out before Curtis Granderson, sitting dead red on a 2-0 count, turned on a 97-mph fastball over the middle of the plate and deposited it into the upper deck. It was just third hit and first run Kimbrel's allowed over 8.1 innings.

Kimbrel threw one perfect inning and struck out two batters, collecting his fifth save of the season in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
After throwing seven innings over seven games since the start of the season, Kimbrel has yet to allow a run and has posted a 0.86 WHIP. Sunday's game marked his second consecutive effort with two strikeouts, giving the hard-throwing righty 10 over his seven appearances.

Kimbrel pitched a clean ninth inning and struck out two to record the save Thursday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel didn't allow a ball to leave the infield as he recorded his fourth save of the season Thursday. He has struggled a bit with his command, walking four across six innings of work, but has otherwise looked dominant to begin the season. He remains an elite closing option.

Kimbrel earned his third save of the season, as he threw a perfect inning in Sunday's 8-7 victory over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel has been his usual dominant self so far this season. Over five games (five innings) the righty has yet to allow a run and has given up just two hits. Although he didn't strike out any batters Sunday, Kimbrel is proving to be one of the game's elite closers.

Kimbrel completed one inning Saturday against the Rays to earn a save, allowing no earned runs on no hits and one walk with no strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Kimbrel was called into action for the second straight game and was once again successful in converting the save opportunity. He didn't strike out the side on this occasion, but he is showing why he was frequently the second closer off the board in drafts as he should see an abundance of save opportunities this season and has proven to be very consistent throughout his career.

Kimbrel struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning Friday to pick up his first save of the season in a 1-0 win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander missed most of the spring to be with his infant daughter, who needed emergency heart surgery, but Kimbrel apparently didn't require much preparation to be in mid-season form. With the Red Sox expected to compete once again for an AL East title, the 29-year-old should see more than enough late-game opportunities to record at least 30 saves for the eighth straight year.
