Mets signed RHP Craig Hansen to a minor league contract. The deal runs through 2013. Hansen, 28, was considered the Red Sox' closer of the future at one time, but he just never put it together and has been plagued by a rare nerve issue in his neck the last few years. Evidently the Mets are convinced the former first-round pick is healthy now.
