Mullee (elbow) was non-tendered by the Cubs on Friday and is now a free agent, the Chicago Tribune's Mark Gonzales reports.
EDGE Analysis
He missed the final three months of the season after undergoing surgery to deal with a nerve issue in his elbow. The Cubs then claimed him off waivers from the Yankees after the season, but apparently they either did not like his medicals or simply saw a better way to use the roster spot. His numbers at Triple-A prior to the injury were excellent (0.99 ERA, 45:11 K:BB in 36.1 innings), so another team will likely give him a shot if he can prove he is healthy.

Mullee (hand) was claimed off waivers by the Cubs on Monday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mullee was spectacular out of the bullpen with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (0.99 ERA in 25 appearances), and even translated some of that success to the majors. He also possesses a strong propensity to miss bats, which could help him compete for a spot in Chicago's bullpen out of spring training as long as he's healthy by then.

Mullee underwent season-ending surgery to address a nerve issue in his elbow, LoHud.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mullee was transferred to the 60-day DL earlier Saturday to clear up a roster spot, but it appears as though his season is now officially done. The 28-year-old, who is expected to be back at full health by the start of spring training, made his big league debut in 2016, posting a 3.00 ERA with four strikeouts in three innings. The righty was terrific in the minors though, working to a 0.99 ERA over 25 appearances with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, so he could get a shot to make the Opening Day roster in 2017.

Mullee (hand) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The move, along with the release of Alex Rodriguez, allows the Yankees to add two outfield prospects, Aaron Judge and Tyler Austin, to the 40-man roster Saturday. Mullee has not pitched in a game since July 1, so he wouldn't be able to return to action until early September, although there is no news as to how far along he is in his rehab.

Mullee (hand) joined the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre roster Monday, LoHud.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It remains unclear at this point if it's just a rehab assignment, as the Yankees could eventually call the 28-year-old back up when he's healthy. Mullee has allowed one run in three innings in the big leagues this year, but has been excellent at the Triple-A level with a 0.52 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 34.1 innings.

Mullee (hand) was placed on the 15-day DL on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Mullee was forced out of Friday's contest after experiencing some numbing in his hand, and the team has now labeled the issue as carpal tunnel syndrome-like symptoms. Chad Green, Sunday's scheduled starter, was called up in a corresponding roster move and it remains unclear how long Mullee will be sidelined for.

Mullee left Friday's game with numbness in his right hand, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mullee had pitched a scoreless inning in relief of Nathan Eovaldi, but he issued a walk to the last batter he faced and signaled for a trainer after being unable to feel the ball. The 28-year-old has already undergone Tommy John surgery twice so any kind of injury is always alarming, but the pitcher reported his shoulder and elbow felt fine. A further update on his status should become available if Mullee is forced to miss any time.

Mullee was recalled by the Yankees on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old reliever will take the roster spot previously held by Kirby Yates, who was sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Mullee has been dominant at Triple-A this season, posting a .52 ERA across 34.1 innings of work. He did not fare as well in his brief stint with the Yankees earlier this season, but he only pitched one full inning. He'll be another solid middle relief option out of the Yankees bullpen.

Mullee was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mullee's first stint in the major leagues lasted just one outing as he was optioned back to the minors Tuesday following his one inning of work Monday against Arizona. The 28-year-old reliever will head back to Triple-A, where he has notched a 1.02 ERA with 23 strikeouts across 17.2 innings this season.

Mullee's contract was selected from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees announced a series of moves Saturday, and both Mullee and right-hander Chad Green have been added to the major league roster. In order to free up spots on the 40-man roster, Bryan Mitchell and Greg Bird were transferred to the 60-day DL. Mullee, who has never appeared in a major league game, is off to a strong start at Triple-A, posting a 1.02 ERA across 11 appearances (17.2 innings).
