Cliff Lee allowed two runs on three hits over seven innings Thursday in a victory over the Twins.
He struck out six and walked one. Lee was cruising through six innings, surrendering just one hit, until Justin Morneau cracked a two-run double in the seventh. The left-hander is now fourth in the NL in wins with eight, after finishing 2012 with six. He'll take a 2.55 ERA and 0.98 WHIP to the mound against Washington next week.

Cliff Lee left Thursday's start due to a blister.
Lee had already thrown 101 pitches through seven innings, so the Phillies were probably just playing it safe by removing him early. He should be OK for next week's start against the Nationals.

Cliff Lee allowed four runs -- three earned -- in seven innings Friday in a no-decision against the Brewers.
Lee brought a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning, but it evaporated after Jean Segura hit an RBI triple and came around to score on a throwing error by Freddy Galvis. The southpaw struck out nine and walked three in the no-decision. He'll try again for win No. 8 next week when he takes on the Twins in Minnesota.

FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Cardinals are one of nine teams that are not on Cliff Lee's no-trade list.
Morosi says Lee is intrigued by the possibility of playing for the Cards. However, with the game's best rotation ERA, it's unlikely that St. Louis would be interested in parting with a lot of young talent for Lee. The lefty could still wind up being dealt to a contender, but he possesses leverage if the interested party is on his no-trade list.

FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rangers are among the 20 teams on Cliff Lee's no-trade list.
Lee reset the list of clubs before this season and most of them are projected as trade deadline "buyers." Of course, that a team is on the no-trade list doesn't rule out the possibility of a deal getting done, but it gives the southpaw more leverage. With the Phillies under .500, he should be a hot topic leading up to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline. Lee is owed $25 million over the next two seasons while his contract includes a $27.5 million club option or a $12.5 million buyout. The option becomes guaranteed if Lee is not on the disabled list at end of 2015 season with injury to left elbow or left shoulder and has 200 innings in 2015 or 400 innings combined between 2014-15.

Cliff Lee struck out 11 while holding the Brewers to three runs over 7 2/3 innings in Sunday's 7-5 win.
Lee allowed seven hits and didn't walk anyone. The left-hander has now won seven games this season, exceeding his inexplicable victory total of six from last year. Lee will carry a nifty 2.45 ERA and 0.96 WHIP into a rematch against the Brewers next weekend.

Cliff Lee fired eight innings of one-run ball Tuesday as the Phillies beat the Red Sox 3-1 in Boston.
Lee allowed an RBI single to Dustin Pedroia in the bottom of the first inning but was nearly unhittable after that. He wound up yielding just four hits with no walks and eight strikeouts. The veteran left-hander has been force all month and now owns a 2.34 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 63/13 K/BB ratio in 80 2/3 total innings this season. He'll take a 6-2 record into his next start against the Brewers.

Cliff Lee overwhelmed the Marlins Wednesday, going the distance while allowing just three hits, two walks and no runs while striking out five in the 3-0 win.
Lee got into trouble in the second inning with a single, walk and hit by pitch, but he pulled a Houdini act with a 5-2-3 double play followed by a pop-out. Two of the three base knows he allowed were of the infield variety, and all three were singles. The southpaw will take a nifty 2.48 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into next week's start in Boston.

Cliff Lee limited the Reds to two runs over seven innings Friday in a no-decision against the Reds.
The only damage was a two-run homer by Jay Bruce in the sixth inning. Lee held the Reds to just six hits and two walks while striking out seven. While the southpaw was denied the win by his bullpen, his ERA is down to 2.83 for the year. He'll try to keep the good times going next week in a tasty matchup against the lowly Marlins.

Cliff Lee fired seven scoreless innings Saturday in the Phillies' 3-1 defeat of the Diamondbacks.
Lee scattered six hits in the impressive outing and dropped his ERA from 3.26 to 2.86. The left-hander has run into some rough patches in the early part of the 2013 season but will probably have ace-like numbers yet again when all is said and done. He'll get the Reds next.
