The 36-year-old made 10 starts with the Blue Jays this season, producing a record of 1-5 to go along with a 5.96 ERA and 22 strikeouts through 45 1/3 innings. Richard did not appear in a game with the team since landing on the 10-day injured list with a left lat strain in mid July.
