Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor picked up a pair of starts in both left field and at shortstop over the past four games, going 3-for-16 with a solo home run and a stolen base. He should have a fairly clear path to steady playing time versus left-handers, but he'll likely sit out against right-handed pitching more frequently when the Dodgers are at close to full strength.

Taylor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's victory over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor kept the momentum going for the Dodgers with a leadoff homer in the top of the fourth inning to put the team up 4-0 behind a dominant Clayton Kershaw. He would later add a single to give him just his fourth multi-hit game since the start of May. The shortstop came into Thursday's matchup having gone just 3-for-16 since his two homer game on May 28 and remains a highly inconsistent bat in the Dodgers' lineup. He is, however, already up to 10 long balls on the season.

Taylor went 3-for-3 with two homers and three runs scored in Sunday's 11-10 loss against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor smacked a pair of solo shots off Rays starter Josh Fleming, loudly ending a 14-game stretch without a homer. Sunday's performance may be what Taylor needed to get back on track -- he'd gone just 5-for-36 with a .406 OPS since May 9. Overall, the 32-year-old utility man is batting .213/.276/.500 with nine homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored and four stolen bases in 134 plate appearances this season.

Taylor is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Rays, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor has managed just a .125/.177/.188 batting line across his last 12 contests and now been out of the lineup for four of the last five games. Miguel Rojas will get the nod at shortstop Friday.

Taylor is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Wednesday's series finale versus the Twins and is batting just .186 with a .250 on-base percentage through 112 plate appearances for the season. Granted, the 32-year-old utilityman has still managed to tally seven home runs, 17 RBI, four stolen bases and 17 runs scored. He could appear off the bench at some point in Thursday's series opener at St. Louis.

Taylor hit a two-run home run in his only at-bat against Milwaukee on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor began the contest on the bench before being called up on to pinch hit for Michael Busch in the ninth inning. The veteran utility man came through with a two-run shot to center field, though it didn't make much of an impact on the outcome since the Dodgers still trailed 9-3 after the long ball. Taylor was batting an ugly .145 as recently as Aug. 29, but he's come alive since then, slashing .429/.478/.952 with two homers, three doubles, a triple, seven runs, seven RBI and two steals over his past seven contests.

Taylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers mustered only three hits and five walks in the contest, but Taylor's fourth-inning blast was all the offense they needed in the win. He's gone 7-for-16 (.438) with five extra-base hits, five RBI, two steals and six runs scored over his last five games. The utility man is slashing .205/.267/.500 with six homers, 15 RBI, 14 runs and three stolen bases across 86 plate appearances this season, though his hitting is trending in the right direction.

Taylor is not in the starting lineup Friday versus the Padres, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor went 2-for-3 with a triple, a stolen base and two runs scored in Wednesday's series finale against the Phillies, but he'll take a seat in Friday's series opener against the Padres and right-hander Yu Darvish.

Taylor went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor's speed was on display in Wednesday's victory. The 32-year-old utilityman legged out a one-out triple in the seventh inning before scoring on Freddie Freeman's sacrifice fly. Taylor then got the Dodgers started in the ninth with a single before swiping second base -- his third steal of the year -- and eventually scoring on Max Muncy's walkoff grand slam. Taylor now has three consecutive multi-hit games, going 6-for-11 with five extra-base hits in that span after a slow start to the season. He's now slashing .205/.272/.479 with five home runs, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored through 81 plate appearances. Taylor should continue to see regular playing time for Los Angeles, thanks to his positional versatility.

Taylor went 2-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a 6-3 win against the Cardinals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor had one of his best offensive games of the campaign, notching multiple hits for just the second time. The utility man drove in a run with his first double of the season in the fourth inning and scored on a sacrifice fly after singling, stealing second and reaching third on a wild pitch in the eighth. Taylor still has a long way to go to bring his slash line, which currently sits at .167/.222/.409, up to a respectable level.
