Stewart is still in the running for the final spot on the Braves' Opening Day roster, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Johan Camargo (back) headed for the DL, the Braves are deciding between an additional utility player like Danny Santana, or a third catcher in Stewart, which would allow the team to use Tyler Flowers and Kurt Suzuki as late-game pinch hitters. For his part, Stewart has had a decent spring in his limited opportunities, going 4-for-12, but the 36-year-old is highly unlikely to see enough playing time to have any real fantasy value even if he does win the job.

Stewart signed a one-year major-league contract with the Braves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 11-year veteran has played for six teams in his major-league career. The journeyman backup has only once received more than 190 plate appearances. He'll begin the season as the Braves' third catcher behind Tyler Flowers and Kurt Suzuki, though his major-league contract means he has a good chance to be the first catcher called upon in the event of an injury.

Stewart will not return to the Pirates after the club elected to decline their $1.5 million option for the 2018 season, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart played in 51 games for Pittsburgh in 2017, but hit just .183/.241/.221 with no home runs and four BRI. He will look to latch on with another organization this winter, although it's unlikely that he will make much of an impact within the fantasy radar.

Stewart is out of the lineup Monday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart had started four-straight games earlier in the week, but Labor Day will mark his third consecutive absence from the starting lineup. Elias Diaz, who is 3-for-17 at the dish since getting the call Aug. 26, will draw yet another start Monday.

Stewart is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Francisco Cervelli (quadriceps) is on the DL, Stewart has drawn four of the last five starts behind the plate for Pittsburgh. Sunday will mark Stewart's second consecutive day out of the lineup, however, as the team will turn to Elias Diaz as they attempt to take the series from Cincinnati.

Stewart is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
With Francisco Cervelli (quadriceps) returning to the disabled list Saturday, the Pirates have an opening for regular starts behind the plate, but it looks as though Stewart may be forced to share time with Elias Diaz, who receives the nod Sunday. Even if Stewart were to take on the bulk of the catching duties, he would likely do more harm than good for fantasy owners, given the middling .469 OPS he carries for the season.

Stewart is out of the lineup Monday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
After starting four of the past six games behind the plate, Stewart's opportunities to see regular at-bats will likely draw to a close with the Pirates bringing back Francisco Cervelli (concussion) from the 7-day disabled list Monday. Stewart has never been known for his aptitude with the bat anyway, so it's unlikely fantasy owners in NL-only leagues were relying on him for much production while Cervelli was sidelined.

Stewart will start behind the plate and bat eighth Sunday against the Giants, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
It initially appeared that the higher-upside Elias Diaz would settle in as the Pirates' primary starter behind the dish while Francisco Cervelli (concussion) has been sidelined, but those duties seem to have fallen to Stewart, who will pick up his fourth start in six games Sunday. Stewart collected only two hits in those previous three starts and is batting .203 on the season, so it will be difficult to wring much fantasy value out of him while he retains the top spot on the depth chart.

Stewart is in the lineup for Wednesday's game, Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
After spending three weeks on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring, Stewart will be making his first start since late May when the Pirates face off with Milwaukee on Wednesday. The catcher is behind the dish while batting eighth during his return.

Stewart (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart had been sidelined since May 30 with a strained left hamstring but was recently able to aggressively run the bases which was his final hurdle before returning to live action. He'll slot back in as the reserve catcher behind Francisco Cervelli.
