Paddack was moved up to Double-A San Antonio on Thursday, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack cruised through the High-A level, posting a 2.24 ERA and 0.90 WHIP over 10 starts with Lake Elsinore. In just 52.1 innings, he racked up a remarkable 83:4 K:BB after missing the entire 2017 season due to Tommy John surgery he underwent in August of 2016. Look for him to remain with San Antonio for the rest of this season.

Paddack has supplied a 2.27 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 51:2 K:BB across 31.2 innings for High-A Lake Elsinore this season.
EDGE Analysis
Acquired in 2016 in the deal that sent Fernando Rodney to the Marlins, Paddack has been one of the most dominant arms in the California League and looks like the unquestioned top right-handed pitching prospect in the San Diego system. Blessed with a mid-90s fastball and a devastating changeup, Paddack has overwhelmed opposing hitters over parts of three seasons in the minors, compiling a 161:14 K:BB in 119.1 career innings. While the 22-year-old's raw numbers would imply that he belongs in the top tier of pitching prospects, health concerns have kept Paddack from reaching that stature. Paddack missed the entire 2017 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, and there's some fear that his high-effort delivery could make him susceptible to additional arm injuries that would prevent him from fulfilling his considerable upside.

Paddack is set to make his season debut for High-A Inland Empire on Monday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The appearance will be Paddack's first since 2016, as he missed the entirety of last year while recovering from Tommy John surgery. He's a potential future mid-rotation starter with promising command and an excellent changeup, though his injury obviously adds some risk to his profile. In 87.2 innings in the low minors, the righty has an excellent 1.54 ERA, striking out 110 batters while walking just 12.

Paddack is expected to be assigned to an affiliate in late April, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is no longer injured, but after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2016 and missing all of 2017, Paddack will be on a strict innings limit this year, so there was no sense in rushing him out to an affiliate. Paddack is currently pitching in extended spring training. He has impressed evaluators with his stuff this spring, and could shoot up lists after he gets back in game action at either Low-A or High-A.

Paddack threw a bullpen session Sunday, Keith Law of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack's fastball climbed up to 93 MPH during Sunday's workout, and Law reported that he was delivering a great changeup as well. Paddack, who underwent Tommy John surgery in August of 2016, will look to continue climbing through San Diego's farm system this coming season. He most recently threw at Low-A Fort Wayne in 2016, where he started three games and allowed just one run over a combined 14 innings.

Paddack (elbow) threw his first live batting practice session this spring, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack underwent Tommy John surgery in August of 2016. He's yet to return to the mound in a live game, but the right-hander was able to throw a couple bullpen sessions last summer before the end of the 2017 campaign. He should be good to go for the start of this season for one of the Padres' minor-league affiliates.

Paddack (elbow) is throwing bullpen sessions and could be ready for 2018 spring training, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack underwent Tommy John surgery last July, but remains one of the top prospects in the Padres' organization despite missing all of the 2017 season. The 21-year-old righty will continue building back his velocity heading into the offseason with the hopes of getting back to minor-league action next year.

Paddack (elbow) will likely miss the entire 2017 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery last year, Bill Center of the Padres' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack is still considered a prospect despite the elbow injury and will be only 22 when the 2018 season opens. He currently throws a low 90s fastball along with a wipeout change. Improving his curve will help him develop into a mid-rotation starter. If that doesn't work for him. some scouts believe he can morph into closer given his fastball/changeup combination.

Paddack has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will likely need Tommy John surgery, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Paddack was traded to the Padres in June as the return for Fernando Rodney. He had a 0.85 ERA with a 71:5 K:BB in 42.1 innings between two Low-A teams this season.
