Hatcher (3-0) fired a scoreless two-thirds of an inning in an extra-innings win over the Orioles on Saturday, allowing one walk.
EDGE Analysis
Hatcher was credited with the win after closing out the top half of the 12th. The veteran right-hander has scoreless efforts in three of his last four trips to the mound, which represents his most effective stretch of pitching this season. The 33-year-old's Saturday appearance was also his shortest thus far in terms of pitch count, as he got through it with only eight offerings.

Hatcher fired a scoreless seventh inning in an extra-inning win over the White Sox on Wednesday, recording a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old right-hander bounced back nicely from a rough outing against the Mariners his last time out, in which he'd allowed three earned runs on a pair of home runs. Hatcher has now alternated three scoreless efforts with three multi-earned-run tallies over his six April appearances, leading to an unsightly 13.50 ERA over 4.2 innings during the month.

Hatcher (2-0) gave up two runs on two hits in one inning of work against the Rangers on Thursday. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Hatcher entered the game in the top of the ninth with Oakland only trailing by one, and -- following a Juan Centeno single -- he proceeded to give up a two-run, two-out home run to Shin-Soo Choo. The 33-year-old has allowed a hit in each of his four appearances, and, although he has yet to walk a batter on the year, Hatcher hasn't struck anyone out since Opening Day. Seeing as he doesn't get save opportunities, Hatcher will need to cut out games like the one Thursday in order to become any sort of a reliable fantasy option.

Hatcher (2-0) allowed a hit over a scoreless two-thirds of an inning in Monday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
He's now sandwiched two strong appearances around a disastrous outing against the Angels in Sunday's series finale, when he allowed three runs on four hits over two-thirds of an inning. Hatcher looks primed for high usage this season if his early workload is any indication, as manager Bob Melvin has already deployed him thrice over the first five games. Given his ability to put in a robust amount of innings, Hatcher could see a solid number of hold opportunities as well as occasional wins over the course of the season.

Hatcher (1-0) fired a scoreless 11th inning in Thursday's 6-5 extra-inning Opening Day win over the Angels, allowing two hits and recording two strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
He made it interesting in the top of the 11th, allowing Martin Maldonado and Zack Cozart to reach on singles after two were out before getting Mike Trout swinging to snuff out the threat. Hatcher isn't likely to find himself in position for many wins this season, but Marcus Semien assured him one to kick off 2018 when he laced a game-clinching single in the home half of the frame.

Hatcher has compiled a 1.29 ERA over seven innings across seven spring appearances, allowing one earned run on three hits while recording seven strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old right-hander has once again proven his worth with a strong exhibition showing, after generating a solid 3.52 ERA following his trade from the Dodgers in mid-August of last season. Hatcher should be in line for some hold opportunities in 2018 while also providing above-average strikeout upside in setup-type role (43 whiffs over 40.2 innings in 2017).

Hatcher agreed to a one-year, $2.15 million deal with Oakland on Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hatcher was traded to Oakland via the Dodgers in mid-August and proceeded to pitch respectably for his new team, posting a 3.52 ERA in 23 frames with the A's. He will enter the 2018 season as a high-leverage reliever who has the opportunity to accumulate a solid number of holds, but shouldn't be expected to provide a high strikeout rate or see many chances to close with Blake Treinen (finger) set to reprise his ninth-inning role.

Hatcher notched his ninth hold in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Rangers, firing a scoreless eighth inning in which he allowed no hits or walks and recorded a pair of strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Hatcher posted what was his 12th scoreless effort in the last 13 appearances. The 32-year-old right-hander had stumbled by allowing two earned runs over an inning to the Mariners on Wednesday, but his September rebound after a rough finish to August (three earned runs over one inning across two appearances) has lowered his ERA from 5.63 to 2.86 and has included a victory, a save and five holds.

Hatcher grabbed his fifth hold in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Phillies, firing 1.1 scoreless innings in which he allowed no hits or walks and recorded a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Hatcher has settled in nicely during September, with Sunday's outing serving as his seventh consecutive scoreless effort. The 32-year-old had given up earned runs in three straight appearances between late August and early September, but his recent stretch of success has lowered his ERA from 5.63 to 2.81.

Hatcher tossed a clean ninth inning to collect his first save of the season Wednesday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Blake Treinen was likely unavailable after tossing three innings over the previous two games, leaving Hatcher to close the game out in his place. Even if he does see a few save opportunities down the stretch, his 4.53 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 47.2 innings this season make him an unappealing option.
