Devenski (hamstring) will require a third rehab outing later this week at Double-A Corpus Christi or Triple-A Fresno, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski's made two rehab appearances last week with two days of rest in between. He last pitched Friday, running his pitch count to 20 and striking out three in one inning. The Astros may want to see the right-hander pitch on consecutive days, which would mean at least two more outings.

Devenski (hamstring) will remain with Triple-A Fresno and pitch a second rehab outing Friday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski allowed two hits and struck out one while recording two outs during Tuesday's appearance with Fresno. That marked his first time back in a live game since July 27. There's a chance he will be able to return from the DL following Friday's minor-league assignment, but either way, look for the right-hander to rejoin Houston's bullpen in the near future.

Devenski (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday, Christian Boutwell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski is already eligible to return from his hamstring injury and appears to be about to do so. He's expected to throw one inning Tuesday and could make another rehab appearance Friday, though there's a chance he returns to Houston at that point, given the short length of his absence.

Devenski (hamstring) will throw a bullpen session Sunday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
If there are no setbacks following the session, Devenski will soon head on out a rehab assignment. This will be the second bullpen for Devenski who came out of a session Thursday feeling no pain. He was placed on the 10-day disabled list Aug. 3, retroactive to July 31.

Devenski (hamstring) has been throwing in the bullpen and is expected to return to the Astros shortly, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski's disabled list assignment was made retroactive to July 31, so he's already eligible to return. It's unclear whether or not he'll need a rehab assignment, but given the short length of his absence that may not be necessary.

Devenski was placed on the 10-day disabled list with left hamstring tightness retroactive to Tuesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski will be eligible to return next weekend during the club's four-game set against Seattle. It's unclear as to when Devenski suffered this injury, but manager A.J. Hinch hasn't used him since last Friday. His past two outings were clearly indicative of an underlying issue, as he allowed eight earned runs off seven hits and two walks without recording an out against the Rangers and Angels in his lone pair of appearances since the All-Star break. The Astros recalled Cionel Perez in a corresponding move.

Devenski did not record an out and allowed five runs on four hits and a walk in Friday's 11-2 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski has been rocked in his last two outings, giving up eight runs, seven hits, three home runs and two walks without recording an out. A bad night can be written off, but warning bells should be going off after this latest appearance. Devenski has allowed runs in five of his last seven appearances, posting a 25.07 ERA with four homers allowed in 4.2 innings. Expect the Astros to move him out of a high-leverage role, replacing him with the newly acquired Ryan Pressly.

Devenski (2-2) allowed three runs on four hits in a third of an inning, taking the loss Thursday against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski was also tagged with a blown save, his second in the last five appearances. The All-Star break can't come soon enough for the right-hander, who has been a very effective reliever all season, but is finishing the first half of the season on a down note. Devenski, whose season ERA is a tidy 2.45, has given up five runs, seven hits, two walks and a hit batsman over his last three innings.

Devenski struck out two in clean ninth inning in Saturday's 10-2 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
This was Devenski's fourth consecutive appearance without allowing a walk or a hit and sixth without permitting a run. He's lowered his ERA to 1.63 while striking out 34 over 27.2 innings. Houston's bats have heated up during a 10-game winning streak so Devenski hasn't been needed for too much high-leverage work of late, which is why we saw him mopping up Saturday's blowout win.

Devenski allowed two runs on three hits and a walk in the ninth inning of Tuesday's extra innings loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski got the nod for the save opportunity Tuesday after Ken Giles had pitched on both Sunday and Monday. Staked to a two-run lead, the hard-throwing reliever issued a leadoff walk to Miguel Andujar before serving up a game-tying homer to Brett Gardner. It was Devenski's first blown save of the season and the Yankees went on to win in extras.
