Surely Baltimore Orioles first baseman wants to be out there playing more often during Spring Training. The team wants to make sure that he's able to play during the regular season. Spring Training stats don't count, after all. Davis has said that his tight forearm, which has received a clean MRI bill, is getting better daily. Still, it's betst for all involved that caution wins the day.

Davis said that it was a day-to-day thing for him. Hopefully, this will not result in a season-long soap opera of "Will he play today?"
