Capuano did not record a decision Monday against the Rays as he allowed two hits and four walks to go along with four strikeouts in six scoreless innings. The Yankees offense was held without a run yet again to waste a solid start from Capuano. The Yankees offense has been terrible this season, so Capuano might struggle to earn wins down the stretch regardless of how he performs.

Capuano only recorded one out in his start Wednesday, giving up four runs on four hits and two walks before getting pulled against the Rays. It was, quite clearly, the shortest start of Capuano's career, and it demonstrates the lack of security that comes with using him in shallower fantasy leagues. He hasn't made it out of the seventh inning this year, and with a 4.90 ERA, he should only be used in somewhat desperate circumstances. He'll have a chance to redeem himself against this same Rays team in Tampa Bay on Monday.

Capuano lasted just 4.1 innings against Boston on Thursday, allowing four runs and six hits. He struck out two batters. Capuano gave up three homers, including a pair of long balls to David Ortiz, and was ultimately chased from the game after tossing just 76 pitches. Before Thursday's mediocre outing, the veteran lefty had been respectable in seven starts for the Yankees, posting a 4.01 ERA in 42.2 innings. He'll look to get on track in his next start, taking on Tampa Bay at home.

Capunano allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits, walking one and striking out four over 6.1 innings of a 6-3 win against Toronto on Friday night. Capuano (2-3, 4.24 ERA) notched his first win for the Yankees since coming over to the team earlier this month. He isn't an ace, but he can contribute and the Yankees are playing well as they try to run down the division-leading Orioles. He'll get the Red Sox at home in his next scheduled start.

Capuano went six innings Sunday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on six hits and no walks, striking out five. The three runs came on homers by Alexei Ramirez and Conor Gillaspie, which were just the fifth and sixth allowed by Capuano this season in 68 innings. His next start could be dangerous - at Toronto.

Capuano gave up four runs on eight hits while fanning eight and walking two in Tuesday's no-decision against the visiting Astros. That's 23 strikeouts in his last three outings, an 18-inning span that has also featured just three walks and a total of eight earned runs. Capuano will look to pick up his first win in a Yankee uniform again when he takes to the mound against the White Sox on Sunday.

Capuano lost Monday against the Orioles as he pitched six innings and allowed four runs and six hits to go along with seven strikeouts. Capuano has provided the Yankees with a mostly dependable starting option as he has allowed four runs or less in each of his four starts with the team. He has 15 strikeouts over his last two starts and although he's not flashy, he is at least fantasy relevant again with his new role.

Capuano allowed one unearned run on five hits and a walk, striking out eight in Wednesday's victory over the Tigers. Capuano kept a tough Detroit lineup in check Wednesday, but was unable to come away with the win, as Brian McCann launched the go-ahead solo shot the inning after Capuano was replaced by Adam Warren. The left-hander has been an admirable fill-in for the Yankees so far, allow a total of six earned runs over 19 innings, fanning 17 batters along the way. He's still not the ideal fantasy option, but has the potential to do a bit of damage when he's feeling it on a particular night.

Chris Capuano pitched well in his Yankees debut on Saturday, surrendering a pair of runs on five hits over six innings in a no-decision. The veteran left-hander punched out four on the afternoon while walking four. All of the damage against him came in the fifth inning where Melky Cabrera delivered an RBI double and scored on a sacrifice fly. His flyball tendencies won't play well in his new home park, but he should be able to generate fantasy value with his ability to miss bats. He'll take on the Red Sox in Boston on Friday.
