The Rockies optioned Dollander to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander has failed to gain any traction in his first 15 major-league starts, putting up a 6.68 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 52:33 K:BB over 68.2 innings. Unsurprisingly, most of his struggles have occurred at Coors Field, where he's held a 9.37 ERA and 1.96 WHIP in eight starts. The move to send Dollander down now could have been made in part to manage his workload around the All-Star break, as the Rockies can get by with four starters this week if they so choose. He should get another opportunity in the majors at some point in the second half.

Dollander did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the White Sox. He allowed three runs on five hits and four walks over 3.2 innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander worked through two scoreless frames with little issue before unraveling. He coughed up a pair of runs in the third inning and another in the fourth. He fired 92 pitches (50 strikes) despite not finishing four innings. Dollander has combined to throw 6.1 frames over his last two outings and has failed to complete at least five innings in eight of his 15 big-league outings. He now owns an unsightly 6.68 ERA with a 52:33 K:BB across 68.2 frames. Dollander is currently in line for a start in Cincinnati next weekend.

Dollander (2-9) took the loss Tuesday, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks over 2.2 innings in a 6-5 loss against the Astros. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was undone by a five-run third inning capped by a Victor Caratini grand slam. Dollander entered the league as a highly regarded prospect in part due to his electric fastball, which averages 97.6 mph, but he's struggled to turn that into consistent results, posting just a 6.9 K/9 and 4.0 BB/9. Through 14 starts, the rookie owns a 6.65 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 65 innings.

Dollander (2-8) took the loss against the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out one batter over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander got through five scoreless frames before being charged with three runs in the sixth. However, those runs weren't entirely his fault -- he would have gotten the third out of the inning without allowing a run on a Max Muncy popup in the infield, but heavy rain impeded the catch and allowed the ball to drop, scoring two runners. Muncy eventually came around to score, posting another tally on what could have been a very nice line by Dollander. The rookie-right hander has no wins over his past eight starts, going 0-5 with a 5.79 ERA across 37.1 innings during that stretch.

Dollander didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Washington, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks with two strikeouts over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander snared a second consecutive quality start Thursday, displaying excellent command despite having walked multiple batters in 9 of his past 10 starts. It was a revenge game for the 23-year-old, who gave up nine runs (six earned) in an appearance against the Nationals back in April. In 56.2 innings, Dollander owns a 6.19 ERA and a 48:25 K:BB. He's on track to face the Dodgers for his next start.

Dollander (2-7) took the loss Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks over six innings against Atlanta. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander allowed plenty of baserunners but managed to complete six innings for the second time in 11 big-league starts while keeping Colorado within striking distance. Like the rest of the pitching staff, the rookie has endured significant struggles this season, posting a 6.57 ERA and 1.54 WHIP across 50.2 innings.

Dollander (2-6) took the loss against the Mets on Sunday, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander worked a scoreless first inning before surrendering five runs across the second and third. The rookie increased his pitch count from 59 to 78 in his second start since returning from the injured list Tuesday, but he's now allowed five or more earned runs in four of his first 10 major-league outings. He'll carry a 6.85 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 42:22 K:BB across 44.2 innings into a road matchup with Atlanta next weekend.

Dollander will start for Colorado against the Mets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies shifted their rotation around a bit, moving German Marquez to Saturday while tabbing Dollander to start Sunday. It's not clear when Carson Palmquist, who had originally been deemed Saturday's starter, will take his next turn, though Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports that the rookie isn't dealing with any sort of injury. Dollander last pitched Tuesday, so he'll be working on four days of rest Sunday.

Dollander did not factor into the decision during Tuesday's win over Miami. He allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out one batter over three innings.
EDGE Analysis
Dollander delivered a pair of scoreless innings in his return from the injured list before stumbling in the third. He walked the first two batters in the frame and then gave up a pair of RBI singles. It was his first outing since May 18 and he threw just 28 of 59 pitches for strikes. The highly-touted rookie has struggled early in his MLB career with a 6.26 ERA and 39:21 K:BB across 41.2 innings. Dollander is lined up to face the Giants at home next week.

The Rockies reinstated Dollander (forearm) from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has been sidelined the past couple weeks due to forearm inflammation, but he's rejoining Colorado's rotation Tuesday without a minor-league rehab assignment. Through his first eight MLB starts, Dollander has struggled to a 6.28 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 38:18 K:BB across 38.2 innings.
