Atlanta reassigned Leblanc to minor-league camp Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc faced an uphill battle to make the roster out of spring training. He fared reasonably well in the Grapefruit League, going 5-for-16 with a home run and a steal, but it wasn't enough to break camp with the big club. The 28-year-old will likely open the season at Triple-A Gwinnett after spending most of last season with Triple-A Salt Lake in the Angels organization.

Atlanta signed Leblanc to a minor-league contract Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc, 28, is a career .254/.330/.412 hitter over parts of two big-league seasons. He will provide Atlanta with some infield depth.

Leblanc elected free agency Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels booted Leblanc from their 40-man roster last week and because he had been outrighted before, he had the right to choose free agency and has done just that. Leblanc is a career .254/.330/.412 hitter over parts of two big-league seasons.

Leblanc was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc spent a small portion of the second half of the season in the majors and did manage a pair of home runs with six RBI across 28 plate appearances. However, he also struck out at a 32.1 percent clip. Leblanc can stick in the Angels' organization or opt for free agency.

The Angels optioned Leblanc to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc will end up as the Angels' roster casualty as Kevin Pillar (thumb) returns from the 10-day injured list. The 28-year-old Leblanc appeared in nine games after being recalled from the minors Sept. 1, going 3-for-15 with two homers, six RBI and five runs scored.

Leblanc went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc is batting just .200 (4-for-20) over nine major-league contests this season, though two of his hits have been homers. He's added six RBI and four runs scored. He's filling a reserve role in an injury-ravaged Angels infield, so his playing time is unlikely to rise much.

Leblanc went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc provided the bulk of the Angels' scoring with his fourth-inning blast off Andrew Heaney. The homer was his second hit in five games with the Angels this season, though the infielder has maintained a decent .254/.379/.437 slash line over 98 games with Triple-A Salt Lake. Leblanc is unlikely to see much more than short-side platoon usage over the final three weeks of the season, and even then, he's not guaranteed to play against every opposing southpaw.

The Angels recalled Leblanc from Triple-A Salt Lake prior to Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
He will join Jack Lopez and Michael Stefanic as utility options in the Angels infield, but it may take an injury or two for Leblanc to see steady playing time. Aside from a brief stint with the Halos in August, Leblanc had spent the entire season at Salt Lake, producing an .816 OPS over 414 plate appearances.

The Angels optioned Leblanc to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc joined the Angels' active roster Saturday and went 1-for-6 across two games with the team. However, with Taylor Ward returning from the paternity list, Leblanc will be returned to Salt Lake.

Leblanc had his contract selected from Triple-A Salt Lake by the Angels on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Leblanc will join the major-league roster after producing a .262 average with 12 home runs, 48 RBI, 51 runs scored and four stolen bases over 81 games with Salt Lake this season. With Luis Rengifo (wrist) being placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, Leblanc may be thrust into regular at-bats with the big-league club at third base.
