Rockies' prospect right-hander Chad Bettis is currently sidelined with right rotator cuff inflammation.
The issue cropped up during an appearance on Sunday and he won't throw again until he's symptom-free. The 22-year-old right-hander posted a 3.34 ERA and 184/45 K/BB ratio over 169 2/3 innings last season with High-A Modesto and was recently ranked as the organization's No. 3 prospect by Baseball America. He profiles as a mid-rotation starter or impact late-inning arm.
