Bell suffered elbow pain during a bullpen session Saturday and will be sidelined from throwing for at least two weeks, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bell, along with Warwick Saupold, was one of two foreign-born pitchers for the Hanwha Eagles of the KBO and threw 177.1 innings over 29 starts last season, posting an 11-10 record with a 3.50 ERA for a team that went 58-86, so this is a pretty big blow for Hanwha if he's out for a significant period of time.

Bell signed a contract with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korean Baseball Organization on Wednesday, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bell spent parts of the last two seasons with the Tigers, struggling to a combined 7.11 ERA and 1.84 WHIP across 69.2 innings before being designated for assignment in May. He was scooped up with the Braves, but was ultimately outrighted off the team's 40-man roster in August after struggling to a 6.22 ERA across 46.1 innings with Triple-A Gwinnett. Rather than settle for a minor-league deal, Bell opted to head overseas in an attempt to turn his career around.

The Braves outrighted Bell to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Atlanta had previously optioned Bell to Triple-A earlier in the month, but the decision to outright him means that he's no longer a member of the 40-man roster but will remain in the organization after clearing waivers. The lack of a 40-man spot means it's unlikely Bell will receive a promotion to the big leagues when rosters expand Sept. 1.

EDGE Analysis
Bell was promoted prior to Friday's win over the Brewers, but did not make an appearance and was optioned after the game. The 29-year-old returns to Triple-A, where he has a 4.63 ERA and 1.41 WHIP over 46.2 innings this season.

Bell was designated for assignment by the Tigers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bell was removed from the 40-man roster in order to make room for Louis Coleman, who was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Saturday. Moving forward, Bell will now be subject to waivers, though he will remain with Toledo if unclaimed by another organization. Over three appearances in the majors this year, he's posted an 8.59 ERA and 2.18 WHIP across 7.1 innings of relief.

Bell was sent back down to Triple-A Toledo following Thursday's game.
EDGE Analysis
Bell was only with the Tigers for a few days, and failed to impress during his lone appearance, giving up five earned runs in 1.2 innings of relief during Thursday's game against Kansas City. He will continue to come out of the bullpen with Toledo while serving as extra organizational depth. The club announced that a corresponding move will be made prior to Friday's game.

Bell was called up from Triple-A Toledo on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Bell is up to replace the injured Daniel Norris, who's expected to miss at least two months with a groin strain. A southpaw, Bell tossed 5.2 innings for the Tigers in a previous stint this season. He recorded a 3.18 ERA, striking out five batters while walking just one.

Bell will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Monday, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen what the Tigers will do as a corresponding move to make room for Bell on the roster. Once he joins the big club, look for Bell to add depth to Detroit's bullpen. Last season, Bell threw 62.1 innings over 28 games with the Tigers, over which he threw to the tune of a dismal 6.93 ERA and 1.80 WHIP.
