Casey Blake collected three of the Dodgers' 24 hits in their 15-0 romp at Target Field on Monday evening, homering while notching his 17th and 18th RBI. Looking more and more like a role player at age 37, Blake was mired in a 2-for-22 slump entering this evening. More than likely, tonight is not a sign of things to come.

Casey Blake is out of the Dodgers' lineup for the second straight day Tuesday. We haven't heard anything official from the Dodgers, but one wonders if Blake is dealing with another injury. It's not a large leap considering the time he has missed so far this season. Juan Uribe will make another start at third base Tuesday while Aaron Miles plays second.

Casey Blake is out of Monday's lineup against the Tigers. Blake played on Saturday and Sunday, so he's probably just getting a day off. Still, with his durability issues lately, another injury wouldn't be surprising. Juan Uribe will start at the hot corner Monday while Jamey Carroll plays second base.

Casey Blake returned to action on Saturday June 18.

Casey Blake (neck) is back in the Dodgers' starting lineup Saturday. Blake got a cortisone shot on Friday afternoon and had missed the past six games. He will play first base against left-hander Wandy Rodriguez and the Astros.
