Correa went 1-for-1 with a decisive three-run homer run as a pinch hitter during Sunday's 13-inning win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Correa was expected to get the day off, but manager A.J. Hinch opted to give him a pinch-hit appearance and the shortstop responded hitting a three-run homer that was decisive for Houston's win. Correa has gone 5-for-38 (.135) over the past 10 games, but perhaps the home run will boost his confidence as he tries to leave an extended sophomore slump behind him.

Correa is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The shortstop's sophomore slump has lingered longer than expected, as he's gone just 4-for-37 (.108) over his past nine games to sink his season average to .241. He's likely just getting Sunday's game off to clear his head, enabling Marwin Gonzalez to pick up a start at shortstop. Look for Correa to be back in the lineup Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Correa went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old went deep for the first time since May 6 versus the Mariners, and tallied his second multi-hit game in the last four contests. Correa now has half of his six homers on the year in May, and is slashing .275/.387/.457 on the season.

Correa went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and RBI single in the 5-3 victory over Seattle on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
This is the 21-year-old's second three-hit game since Wednesday. He has two home runs and five RBI in the last three games. All the sudden, he's slashing .288/.403/.500 with five homers, 15 RBI, 16 runs and four stolen bases in 104 at-bats. That's more like what fantasy owners were expecting when they made Correa a first-round pick before the season.

Correa went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, three RBI and a trio of runs scored Wednesday in a 16-4 blowout of the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Since homering three times in the first two games of the season, Correa has proceeded to slump pretty badly -- over a 24-game span prior to Wednesday, he went 19-for-84 (.226) with no homers, just one steal, six RBI and eight runs. Those aren't exactly the superstar stats we were hyped up to expect from him, but it's not surprising to see a 21-year-old embarking on his first full season in the majors hitting some peaks and valleys. With this big game, his average (.276) and OPS (.857) are almost exactly in line with last season's numbers.

Correa will be out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Correa has played in all 12 of the Astros' games to date, and after going 1-for-14 over the most recent four contests, manager A.J. Hinch decided it was best to give the 21-year-old a day off. He'll be replaced in the lineup by Marwin Gonzalez, while Colby Rasmus will move up to occupy Correa's usual No. 3 spot in the order.

Correa went 4-for-5 with two solo home runs during the Astros' 16-6 loss to the Yankees on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The star shortstop hit both of his home runs off Michael Pineda to bring his total to three on the young season. Many fantasy owners invested a mid-first round pick on Correa, so his hot start is certainly encouraging.

Correa went 1-for-4 with a homer, two steals, two RBI and two runs Tuesday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The five-category superstar was in midseason form with his exciting performance on opening day. It's performances like these that made him a no-brainer top pick in fantasy drafts.

Correa hit his first home run of the spring Monday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Correa's solo shot off Nationals starter Joe Ross accounted for the Astros' only run of the game. The 21-year-old is 9-for-19 (.474) through seven Grapefruit League games and is primed for a big season hitting out of the three-hole in Houston's lineup.

Correa made his Grapefruit League debut Friday, going 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Correa, who is working on hitting the ball up the middle, said he's seeing ball well, which is all that matters at this point. "The preparation has been there," the 21-year-old said. "I've been very confident in my preparation and just focus on the season. Spring training is to get ready in order to have a great year and help your team eventually win a championship."
