Correa went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored during Monday's 7-4 loss at Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Correa has been productive as the Astros' cleanup hitter, going 30-for-107 (.280) with six homers, 26 RBI and a .932 OPS over the last 30 days. While Tuesday's matchup against southpaw Dillon Overton appears favorable, Correa's production against left-handers (.632 OPS) has dipped considerably this season.

Correa went 2-for-5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI Friday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Correa got the Astros on the board with a two-run blast in the fourth inning of a game the team would eventually win. He's now reached base safely in nine of his last 10 games, and he's slashing .264/.360/.469 on the year.

Correa homered as part of a 3-for-4 game with two runs scored and four RBI in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Correa also doubled, making this the fourth time in his past nine starts in which he has hit both a home run and a double in the same game. He is on a major hot streak and has raised his batting line from an already respectable .254/.354/.421 to .265/.363/.473 in that short time. Power can be streaky, and there should be no doubt that Correa is capable of reeling off a hot one like this at any time.

Correa was named American League Player of the Week after hitting .333 with four doubles, three home runs and nine RBI for the period ending June 26.
EDGE Analysis
Correa joins Tyler White, Jose Altuve and Colby Rasmus as Astros who have won the AL Player of the Week award this season. Overall, the 21-year-old shortstop is hitting .258/.356/.455 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI and eight stolen bases. Correa is a big reason Houston has surged to a 16-8 record in June and have pulled within a game of the AL Wild Card.

Correa went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, a walk and two RBI Saturday at the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Correa's 12th blast of the year capped off a seven-run second inning that led the Astros to an easy road victory. He now has seven extra-base hits over his last four games to raise his slash line to .265/.363/.467.

Correa went 2-for-3, including a home run and a walk-off hit, with three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Correa was responsible for all of the team's runs in the 3-2 victory. He hit his second home run in two games to cut the lead to 2-1 in the fifth. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, the shortstop hit a dramatic game-winning drive into the gap off Angels closer Huston Street. Correa has dealt with the proverbial "sophomore slump" at times this season, but he's having his best month, hitting .295 (18-for-61) in June.

Correa hit his 10th home run as part of a 2-for-3 game with two runs scored and three RBI in Monday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Correa's power is down this season, but the 21-year-old is still one of just seven major league shortstops in double-digits in 2016. He's still showing solid plate discipline too, with a 12.5 percent walk rate. The main reason Correa's numbers have been down thus far is a 24.4 percent strikeout rate, up six points from 2015. It figures that major league pitchers would adjust to Correa a bit -- if he can make the counter-adjustments necessary to start making consistent contact again, he'll be right back to where he was in his brilliant rookie campaign last year.

Correa went 1-for-5 with a solo homer and a walk Friday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Correa's ninth homer of the year tied the game in the eighth inning of a game the Astros would lose in 11 innings. The bomb was his first extra-base hit in six games and the first round-tripper he's hit since May 29.

Correa (ankle) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Cardinals, Angel Verdejo Jr. of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa missed the previous three games with a sprained left ankle, but it looks like he benefitted from the team's off day Monday and is ready to get back into the lineup. He'll return to his usual spot in the field at shortstop and bat cleanup Tuesday against St. Louis lefty Jaime Garcia.

Correa (ankle), who is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rays for the third straight game, expects to return to a starting role for Tuesday's series opener with the Cardinals, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa likely would have been ready to go Sunday if it were a playoff game, but with the Astros in the midst of a long season and an off day looming Monday, the team decided it was best to prolong the star shortstop's rest. After taking part in batting practice and fielding drills prior to Sunday's game, Correa should be available in a pinch-hitting capacity, if needed.
