Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco came off the disabled list on Friday and picked up a win. He tossed 5 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits. He struck out seven and did not allow a walk. It wasn't quite a quality start, but the Cleveland offense had his back, giving him his ninth win of the season. Carrasco's record moved to 9-5 and his ERA dropped to 4.28.

Carrasco should be activated in all fantasy leagues and is immediately usable in daily formats.

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco is set to come off the disabled list and start Friday nights game against the Athletics. Carrasco had a rehab start on Saturday with Double-A Akron in which he hit 97 mph with his fastball. The velocity being back is very encouraging and hopefully Carrasco can start to become more consistent as he has been very hit or miss so far this season. Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (elbow) threw another bullpen session on Wednesday. He threw one on Monday as well, and so far everything has gone well. He'll make a rehab start with the Double-A Akron RubberDucks on Saturday. Assuming that goes well, Carrasco could return to the Cleveland rotation next week.

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (elbow) could throw in a minor league game this Saturday. Carrasco threw a bullpen session on Monday and is scheduled for another one on Wednesday. He's recovering from being hit by a line drive, but there was no structural damage, so he could be back next week as long as everything goes well.

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session on Monday. Carrasco says his elbow felt fine and he'll throw again on Wednesday. He's been sidelined since June 16 but appears to be making solid progress. There is a small chance he returns to the Indians rotation by the end of June, but most likely he'll be back in early July if he doesn't need a rehab start. Carrasco should remain owned in all leagues.

He ended up on the disabled list last weekend after being hit by a line drive, but testing showed no structural damage to his elbow. He might not require a minor league rehab start, so he could be back in the rotation soon.
