Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco struggled on Thursday against the White Sox, allowing six runs on 10 hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings. He did strike out seven, but it was overall a rough start. The loss dropped his record to 4-6 and raised his ERA to 4.98. Carrasco has the talent to miss plenty of bats but he's been inconsistent this season and is off to a slow start to the summer.

He allowed six hits and struck out six without allowing a walk. The strong effort moved his record up to 4-3 and lowered his ERA to 4.18. He has the upside to be one of the league's best starters, but he's gotten off to a somewhat slow start. Maybe this is the start that sparks a hot streak.
