Doval allowed a run on two hits and struck out one over one inning to earn the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Doval allowed two singles to begin the ninth inning. He yielded a run on a groundout but was able to stop the damage there to convert his 20th save of the campaign. Doval has converted six of his seven save chances in July despite allowing four runs over 8.1 innings this month. He's now at a 4.39 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 53:26 K:BB through 41 innings.

Doval allowed one hit in a scoreless inning while striking out one to earn a save over Colorado on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Doval entered with a three-run lead in the ninth and saw the tying run come up to the plate, but he managed to come out unscathed for the save. It was Doval's 19th save in his 23rd opportunity, a far cry from his league-leading 39 saves last season. The 27-year-old has a 4.28 ERA through 40 innings, but high walk totals have plagued him to the tune of a 1.60 WHIP thus far.

Doval issued one walk in a scoreless inning while striking out two batters to earn a save over Colorado on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Doval made his first appearance since blowing a save in his last outing before the All-Star break. This time, he worked around a two-out walk to secure the 3-2 win. Doval has converted 18 of his 22 save chances but he's blown two of the last six. He lowered his ERA to 4.26 alongside a 51:25 K:BB through 40 appearances.

Doval allowed two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out one over one-third of an inning, taking a blown save in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Doval's poor performance didn't stop the Giants from winning, but it made things a bit hairy in the ninth inning. The closer had gone five scoreless innings since his last blown save June 28, though he continues to put too many batters on base. For the season, Doval has a 4.38 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 49:24 K:BB over 37 innings while going 17-for-21 in save chances. If manager Bob Melvin changes his approach to the closer job, Doval could lose some of his save share to Ryan Walker or Tyler Rogers.

Doval allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Friday, striking out one and earning a save over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Doval put the first two batters of the inning on base but escaped the jam to close out the 4-2 win. It was his third straight save conversion, and he's now 17 for 20 in opportunities this season. Doval has not looked like his usual self, however, as his current ERA and WHIP of 4.04 and 1.54, respectively, are both career highs.

Doval allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Doval has converted his first two save chances in July after a tumultuous June. He's allowed one run over his last seven innings, converting four of his five save chances in that span. Overall, he's 16-for-19 in saves with a 4.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 34.2 innings, though his status as the Giants' closer hasn't been threatened.

Doval struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 15th save of the season in a 5-3 win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old right-hander was in peak form, whiffing Adam Duvall with a 100.6 mph cutter to end the game. Doval blew his last save chance Friday, though, and consistency has been an issue for him all year -- through 33.2 innings, he's posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB, a significant step backward from his ratios the prior two seasons.

Doval (3-1) allowed a run on one hit and struck out one over over inning, blowing a save but earning the win Friday over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Doval allowed a triple to Andy Pages, who came home on a Jason Heyward sacrifice fly that tied the game at 3-3 in the ninth inning. The Giants then got a walk-off home run from Brett Wisely to make Doval the pitcher of record despite his poor outing. He's given up nine runs over nine innings in June, though a pair of four-run meltdowns account for much of that damage. He hasn't been dominant this season with a 4.55 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 39:21 K:BB while converting 14 of 17 save chances over 31.2 innings.

Doval picked up the save over the Cubs on Wednesday, allowing one hit over a scoreless ninth inning while striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
Doval entered the contest with a one-run lead in the ninth and surrendered a leadoff single to Dansby Swanson before retiring the next three batters in succession to secure his 14th save of the campaign. The right-hander has now converted each of his last five save attempts and has allowed only one baserunner over his last three appearances. Doval has also posted at least one strikeout in three consecutive outings.

Doval earned a save against the Cubs on Monday, striking out one batter in one perfect inning.
EDGE Analysis
San Francisco scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to take a one-run lead, and Doval entered in the bottom of the frame to try to slam the door on Chicago. He did so without much trouble, needing just 11 pitches to set down the side in order. The outing helped wash away the sour taste of Doval's outing one day earlier, when he allowed four runs over one-third of an inning in a non-save situation against the Angels. On the season, the closer has racked up 13 saves in 15 chances while posting a 4.71 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 36:21 K:BB over 28.2 frames.
