Maybin has appeared in five of six games since he was acquired by the Angels and figures to be in Houston's deep, productive lineup at least five games per week.

It's difficult to project Maybin's playing time moving forward, but he should see enough at-bats to remain a serviceable fantasy asset in most settings. Joining a high-octane offense could mitigate any dip in playing time, too. There is also the potential for Maybin to heat up and carve out a near-everyday role over the final weeks.

Maybin is starting in center field and hitting sixth in his Astros debut in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

George Springer is getting the nod at DH while Maybin patrols center, and while Springer will rarely DH going forward, it does sound like Maybin will be primarily deployed in center field. Unfortunately, the Astros' incredibly outfield depth will likely result in Maybin seeing slightly less playing time over the final month. He hit .235/.333/.351 with six home runs and 29 steals in 387 plate appearances with the Angels prior to the trade.
