Faucher earned a save against the Yankees on Saturday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins led 2-0 when Faucher entered in the ninth frame, and he preserved the shutout by retiring the side in order on 12 pitches. Miami's bullpen hierarchy has been difficult to nail down for much of the season, but it appears Faucher could be settling into the closer role -- he's picked up three of the team's past four saves, with the only save that went to another pitcher during that span being a four-inning conversion by Tyler Phillips. Faucher has earned the confidence of manager Clayton McCullough by giving up just two runs over 10.2 frames while posting a 13:4 K:BB across 10 appearances since the start of July.

Faucher earned a save against the Cardinals on Wednesday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.
EDGE Analysis
Faucher entered in the ninth inning tasked with protecting a 2-0 lead. He needed nine pitches to get the first batter he faced out, then needed just seven more offerings to retire St. Louis' next two hitters. Faucher is clearly in the closer mix for the Marlins, as he has registered two of the team's past three saves and leads the squad with 10 saves on the campaign. Ronny Henriquez, who has notched three saves in July, worked in the eighth frame Wednesday.

Faucher earned the save in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Padres, allowing one hit without recording a walk or strikeout over 1.2 scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Faucher was called upon with one out and the tying run aboard in the eighth, and he delivered a five-out save on just 22 pitches. It was an encouraging effort after the 29-year-old blew a save Friday and entered Wednesday having allowed six earned runs across his previous eight outings. On the season, he's 9-for-14 in save chances with a 4.03 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 37:16 K:BB across 38 innings while sharing the closer role with Ronny Henriquez.

Faucher worked the ninth inning and blew a save, allowing one run on one hit with no walks while striking out two, during Friday's 8-7 win against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Faucher blew his fifth save in 13 tries this season, allowing a game-tying home run off the bat of John Rave. The 29-year-old has allowed a homer in back-to-back appearances after previously not allowing one since May 26. It's a good sign for the right-hander that he was called upon to get the first save opportunity of the second half, considering he and Ronny Henriquez have been locked in a battled for the closer spot all season, but whether he gets these nods moving forward will be worth monitoring. The right-hander has a 4.21 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 37 strikeouts in 36.1 innings this season.

Faucher gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless eighth inning Thursday to record his fifth hold of the season in a win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Ronny Henriquez has picked up the Marlins' last three saves, and four of the team's last five, as he stakes a claim to the closer role. Faucher remains in the high-leverage mix, and the ninth-inning situation for Miami has been volatile all season, but for now it appears as though the 29-year-old righty has been bumped to setup duty. Through 32.1 innings this year, Faucher has compiled a 4.18 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 30:15 K:BB along with three wins and eight saves against four blown saves.

Faucher (3-2) earned the win but blew a save against the Giants on Wednesday, allowing two runs on one hit and one walk over one inning.
EDGE Analysis
Though he was credited with the victory, this was far from a good outing by the right-hander. Faucher hit two batters and walked another during his time on the mound, and the single he allowed would have ended the game if not for Jung Hoo Lee getting thrown out trying to score. The blown save was Faucher's first since May 26, and he recorded six saves across 10.2 innings during that span. With that in mind, he's probably still the Marlins' top option for saves despite Wednesday's rough appearance.

Faucher walked one and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Faucher extended his scoreless streak to 10.2 innings over his last 12 appearances. His last outing Sunday ended in a hold after Faucher was deployed in the eighth inning while Ronny Henriquez took the ninth. Faucher still looks to be the Marlins' closer -- at worst, he's the most trusted high-leverage option, especially given his recent steady pitching. He's maintained a 3.45 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB over 28.2 innings while adding eight saves, three holds and three blown saves. Faucher has been scored upon in just four of his 32 appearances.

Faucher retired the only batter he faced in the ninth inning Saturday to record his seventh save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony Bender got the first crack at the save, taking the mound to begin the ninth inning with the Marlins ahead 4-1, but he coughed up two runs and left the bases loaded before getting the hook. Faucher, who tossed 21 pitches Friday to collect the save, needed only four (three strikes) this time around to get James Wood to pop out, although even that was an adventure -- Otto Lopez held onto the ball after colliding with Kyle Stowers in shallow left field. Faucher has successfully converted all five of his save chances since May 28, posting a 0.00 ERA in seven innings over that stretch, and he's tightening his grip on the closer role for Miami.

Faucher earned the save in Friday's 11-9 win over the Nationals, allowing one hit while striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not issue a walk.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins called in Faucher to protect a two-run lead, and the 29-year-old worked around a Keibert Ruiz single to close things out. Faucher has logged a save in back-to-back appearances and has given up just one run over his last nine outings. He has a 4.01 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, two holds and a 23:11 K:BB across 24.2 innings this season.

Faucher gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to record his fifth save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander leads the Marlins in saves, one ahead of Jesus Tinoco (forearm), and it's been over two weeks since a Miami reliever other than Faucher picked up a save -- Ronny Henriquez collected one May 25. Faucher's earned his spot with some stingy work that has seen him get scored upon only once in his last eight appearances, a stretch in which he's posted a 1.17 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 5:1 K:BB in 7.2 innings.
