Woo (5-2) allowed two runs on two hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out five over 6.1 innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Woo didn't allow a run to advance past first base over his first six innings, but Gavin Lux tagged him for a solo home run in the seventh. It was still a fourth straight quality start for Woo, who has allowed a total of five runs over 27 innings through four starts in August. He's now at a 2.12 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 61:9 K:BB through 80.2 innings over 15 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus the Giants this weekend.

Woo came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Tigers, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander put together another brilliant performance, generating 29 called or swinging strikes among his 85 pitches, but Woo wound up settling for his third straight quality start and seventh of the season when his bullpen couldn't get the job done. Through three outings in August, he's delivered a 1.31 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 19:1 K:BB through 20.2 innings, and he seems fully recovered from the hamstring issues that began bothering him in late June. Woo will face a tough test in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week against the Dodgers.

Woo did not factor into the decision in a win over the Tigers on Thursday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 6.2 innings while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Woo was rolling early, taking a perfect game into the top of the fifth inning before Bligh Madris poked a leadoff single. The right-hander would surrender another three hits in the frame, including two for extra bases, as Detroit jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but those would be the only runs allowed by Woo on the night. He's posted quality starts in back-to-back outings since exiting his start July 27 due to hamstring discomfort. Over that two-game stretch he's produced a robust 13:1 K:BB.

Woo (5-1) allowed five hits and struck out six without walking a batter over seven scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
It was the first time all year Woo has completed seven frames, and it was also his fifth scoreless outing in 12 starts. He also got ample run support from the Mariners, who swatted four homers and put up 10 runs in the win over the National League's top team. Woo lowered his ERA to 2.08 with a 0.87 WHIP and 43:6 K:BB through 60.2 innings this season. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Tigers.

Woo (hamstring) is scheduled to start Friday against the Phillies at T-Mobile Park.
EDGE Analysis
Woo's status for the weekend series with the Phillies had been in question after he departed his latest start this past Saturday in Chicago due to a right hamstring discomfort. Even though Woo spent time on the injured list earlier in July with an injury to the same hamstring, the Mariners were apparently encouraged enough with how he checked out during his post-start throwing sessions to clear him for the Philadelphia series. Woo has had two separate stints on the IL this season, has been scratched from a start and has exited early in three starts, but he's been excellent overall during his time on the mound, posting a 2.35 ERA and 0.89 WHIP across 53.2 innings.

Woo experienced discomfort in his right hamstring during Saturday's start against the White Sox but isn't expected to miss his next start, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports. Woo allowed one unearned run on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts across four innings.
EDGE Analysis
Woo was removed after 70 pitches and reported pain in his right hamstring. the same hamstring he strained in mid-June that required an IL stint. Saturday's start was Woo's third since being activated from the injured list and he's still expected to make his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come Friday against the Phillies. Still, considering the touchy nature of the injury, fantasy managers should keep an eye on Woo's status leading up to his next start.

Woo (4-1) got the win over the Astros on Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out five over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
All the significant damage against Woo came off the bat of Yordan Alvarez, who clubbed a solo home run in the fourth inning before lacing an RBI triple in the sixth en route to a cycle. Woo only threw 73 pitches, but Sunday was his longest outing since he went six innings June 6. It was also the sixth time in 10 starts this season he hasn't issued a walk. It was an excellent bounce back effort from the 24-year-old after his worst start of the year July 12. Woo will carry a 2.54 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 34:5 K:BB in 49.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come against the White Sox over the weekend.

Woo did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Angels, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks over 3.1 innings. He struck out just one.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his fastball clocking in at 94.9 mph, up 0.2 mph from his season average, Woo looked rusty in his return from a hamstring injury against an unspectacular Angels lineup. The Seattle right-hander generated only six whiffs out of his 66 pitches and allowed a career-high nine hits. Even with this poor performance, Woo closes out the first half with a 2.45 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 29:5 K:BB across 44 innings. He currently lines up to face the Angels again at home in his next start after the All-Star break.

The Mariners reinstated Woo (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Friday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Woo made his lone rehab start with High-A Everett on July 6, when he threw 45 pitches over 2.2 innings and allowed two runs on one hit and two walks while striking out two. In his eight starts prior to landing on the injured list June 25 with a strained hamstring, Woo went 3-1 with a 1.77 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 28:3 K:BB across 40.2 innings. To make room on the 26-man roster for Woo, the Mariners optioned right-hander Eduard Bazardo to Triple-A Tacoma.

Manager Scott Servais said Tuesday that Woo (hamstring) will return from the injured list during Seattle's upcoming series against the Angels, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Servais didn't specify exactly what day Woo will return to start, though his turn in the rotation would come up Friday. The 24-year-old had been dominant in eight starts prior to landing on the IL with a strained hamstring, posting a 1.77 ERA and 0.69 WHIP in 40.2 innings. However, he threw just 45 pitches in 2.2 frames during his lone rehab start Saturday, so Woo will most likely be working under a relatively low pitch count in his return to a major-league mound.
