Raley (1-0) gave up a hit in a scoreless eighth inning Monday to record the win over the Angels. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Making his second appearance of the season, Raley kept the game knotted at 5-5 in the top of the eighth before the Mets took the lead for the first time on the night in the bottom of the frame. The 37-year-old missed most of last season and the first part of the current campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery in May 2024, but Raley has been slotted right back into a high-leverage role as the only healthy southpaw in the New York bullpen.

The Mets reinstated Raley (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Raley's recovery from Tommy John surgery is complete, and he'll join the Mets' active roster coming out of the All-Star break. He made eight appearances during a minor-league rehab assignment that spanned three levels, throwing nine scoreless innings with a 13:1 K:BB. Richard Lovelady was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Raley (elbow) is slated to move his rehab assignment from Single-A St. Lucie to Double-A Binghamton on Saturday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley continues to progress in his recovery from May 2024 Tommy John surgery. He made three rehab outings in Single-A, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out six across three scoreless innings. Given how good he's looked in limited action, Raley appears to be on track to rejoin the Mets' bullpen sometime in July.

Raley (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie on Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley is ready to pitch in games again following Tommy John surgery with an internal brace augmentation he underwent last May. The southpaw's rehab assignment will likely last most, if not all, of the allotted 30 days, but Raley is on track to join the Mets bullpen sometime in July.

Raley may be ready to begin a rehab assignment as soon as next week, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reported Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Raley is recovering from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace augmentation he underwent last May and is almost healthy enough to see game action. Per Mastracco, Raley will likely require the full 30-day ramp-up period before being activated, which puts him on pace for a return near the All-Star break.

Raley (elbow) has begun facing hitters in live batting practice, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley has missed the entirety of the 2025 campaign to this point while recovering from Tommy John surgery, which he underwent in May of 2024. The left-hander re-signed with the Mets in late April and was placed on the 60-day injured list April 30. Raley will continue his slow ramp up on the mound, likely participating in multiple bullpen sessions in the coming weeks, and it's possible that he could begin a minor-league rehab assignment later this month.

The Mets transferred Raley (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Raley isn't expected to return to a big-league mound until the second half of the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery last May, so his move to the 60-day IL has no impact on his return timeline. It will, however, clear space on the 40-man roster for Chris Devenski, who was selected from Triple-A Syracuse to replace the injured Danny Young (elbow).

The Mets placed Raley (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley is still working his way back from Tommy John surgery but signed back with the Mets earlier this month as he nears a return to the mound. He'll continue to build his arm back up over the next couple months.

Raley (elbow) signed a one-year contract with the Mets on Friday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley's new contract also includes a club option for 2026. He threw a bullpen session in front of several teams' scouts last week, and the Mets liked what they saw enough to bring the 36-year-old lefty back into their organization. He appeared in eight games for the Mets last season, striking out nine batters through seven scoreless innings before undergoing Tommy John surgery in May. He still likely has a few more months to go in his rehab before he'll be ready to pitch in a game.

Raley (elbow) threw a bullpen session in front of multiple teams Friday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raley appeared in eight regular-season games for the Mets in 2024 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in May. His bullpen session indicates that he's closing in on completing his recovery, and the 36-year-old southpaw could be ready to reinforce a big-league bullpen after the All-Star break. Raley's last full season came in 2023 with the Mets, when he posted a 2.80 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, 25 holds and 61:25 K:BB across 54.2 innings.
