Diamondbacks signed RHP Brian Stokes to a minor league contract. Stokes hasn't pitched professionally this season. The 31-year-old right-hander had an ugly 8.10 ERA and 16/16 K/BB ratio over 16 2/3 innings with the Angels last season. He will serve as organizational depth.
