Brian McCann has been removed from Saturday's game in the seventh inning after a wild pitch deflected off of him and into the Nationals dugout. McCann appeared to be in quite a bit of pain after the errant fastball drilled him near his left kneecap. David Ross replaced him in the lineup. McCann missed a few games last week due to flu-like symptoms but told reporters Monday that he should be fine to go all nine innings against the defending World Series champs.
