Dozier (back) is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Angels, but is expected to return to the lineup at second base for Wednesday's game, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was fully expected that Dozier would sit out Tuesday after he aggravated a sore back in Monday's series opener, but he's apparently recovering quicker than initially anticipated. According to Berardino, Dozier said he was capable of playing Tuesday, but manager Paul Molitor though he could benefit from a rest day. As a result, Eduardo Escobar will man second base, though Dozier is available off the bench and could be called upon as a pinch-hitter if needed.

Dozier is likely to miss Tuesday's game with the same back injury that kept him out Monday, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier woke up with a sore back Monday and thought it might clear up by game time, but there was no such luck. With the Twins starting at 2:10 pm Eastern time on Tuesday, the team won't have the time to wait before submitting a lineup. It still doesn't sound like this injury will be serious enough to force Dozier to the disabled list.

Dozier has been scratched from the Twins lineup Monday for undisclosed reasons, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Expect an announcement from the Twins on the reason for Dozier's absence before Monday's game starts. He had played in 49 straight games before the Twins gave him the night off during Sunday's doubleheader, so it's possible the club just decided to give him a true day off to get some rest.

Dozier is out of the lineup for the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier has played in 49 consecutive games, including the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, when he went 1-for-5 with two RBI. The 30-year-old second baseman has cooled down over the past week, going just 6-for-29 with a home run, but remains a centerpiece of the Twins' potent offense. Eduardo Escobar will man the keystone in his stead.

Dozier went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs Saturday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier crushed his 13th homer of the season off Cody Allen to break up a tie game and the lead the Twins to a road victory. With his slugging percentage down nearly 90 points from last year, he's been a weak fantasy option with a .254/.343/.453 slash line.

Dozier is out of the lineup Sunday against the Indians, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier will sit for the first time since May 9, when he was sidelined due to an ankle injury. With four hits in 20 at-bats over his last five starts, Dozier should benefit from the full two days of rest, as the Twins are off the schedule Monday before opening a series with the White Sox the following day. Eduardo Escobar will cover the keystone with Dozier out while shortstop Jorge Polanco moves up to the leadoff spot.

Dozier went 2-for-8 with his 12th home run as the Twins lost both games of a doubleheader Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier has started to heat up in June as he's hitting .286 with three home runs in his last seven games. He's now tied with Starlin Castro for the most home runs among second baseman.

Dozier went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer, two RBI and two runs in Tuesday's 20-7 whipping of the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
He's been rolling along in style lately, going 12-for-31 (.387) with three homers and seven RBI over the course of his current eight-game hitting streak. Dozier's power has predictably fallen off from last year's ridiculous pace, but no fantasy owner should have drafted him with the expectation of another 40-homer campaign. Still, he's on track to hit 30 long balls and steal more than 20 bases, making him a hugely valuable fantasy contributor if you can stomach his mediocre-at-best batting average.

Dozier was 0-for-4 and struck out three times Sunday during the Twins' 3-2 loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Dozier's batting average fell nearly 20 points in the span of a week. He is 6-for-38 in that span, and his slash line after Sunday reads .236/.330/.404. The 30-year-old's playing time is not in jeopardy, but it's most likely his results, especially in the power department, will not mirror the stats he put up the previous two seasons.

Dozier went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 17-6 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
He's starting to pick up the pace in the power department, hitting three homers with seven RBI in his last eight games. Dozier's .249/.346/.432 remains disappointing compared to his 2016 performance, but he still has plenty of time to pad those numbers.
