Tomko, who will turn 41 just after Opening Day, will throw for interested clubs later this month in California or Arizona. He is willing to be a mentor at Triple-A or accept a bullpen role, so he shouldn't have trouble catching on somewhere. Links says that teams will evaluate Tomko but might not sign him until later on after they see how their roster shakes out.
